Warwick Fiji

In January we visited the Warwick for the second time as a family of 5 (first time was 10 years ago). Please don’t be put off by some of the negative reviews you see online. We had the most amazing time and honestly will keep coming back to the Warwick each time we visit Fiji. You can go to Fiji for two types of holidays. You can either go for the resort style holiday where all you do is enjoy the facilities or you can go to Fiji and fully immerse yourself in their culture. The Fijian culture is the most amazing culture you could experience and I can’t recommend enough to explore the land, people and culture as much as you can. All of the staff from the security, groundsmen, cleaners, front desk, in the two shops, waiters/waitresses, at the ice cream shop were all the friendliest people you could meet who want nothing more than to see a smile on your face. But the three staff members that completely made our trip were Ame, Tieri and Alipate. From the moment we met Alipate on our first morning there he made us laugh, feel at home and was always checking up on us and our kids, he is a true asset to the resort. Tieri only asked our names once and from then on greeted us by name every single morning with the most beautiful smile. We met Ame 10 years ago when we stayed at the Warwick and never forgot him. He made a huge impression on us back then and is one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the Warwick again and we couldn’t wait to see him again. Ame made us feel like we had come home and the way he treated us and our children is something we will never forget. He is why we will continue to come back. We can’t speak highly enough of Ame and think he is one of the best people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with.
