Very friendly place on nice location only few minutes from beach. Staff and manager are very friendly and helpful, and will do their best to arrange everything you need...They also offer good arrangements for diving. Rooms are satisfactory clean, and terrace on roof is very nice. Nothing to complain about

Friendly and cheap place to stay in Hurghada...

Manager Khaled was very helpful and friendly from emailing in advance to arrange airport pick up and even coming in the taxi to meet us & drop us off. (Cost 70 Egyptian (just under £6GBP) from airport to hostel, around a 15-20 min drive)

We had booked an air con room but got there and found there was just a basic ceiling fan. (We were later told the owner had taken the air con room for herself because she didn't think we would turn up, despite us saying our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning!) 

The room was far too hot & stuffy - we had booked in here just to get some sleep for a few hours and a shower before going on to our planned destination, so it was OK for our needs. We had intended to stay at the end of our trip for a couple of nights but location & lack of air con made it too difficult to stay for a longer period of time. The shower did not work so had to use a combination of sink, plastic bottle and wall tap. Take a towel and toilet paper if you consider these essentials! 

The place is quiet and the roof top has a kitchen area where guests staying longer can relax and cook with Khaled. There is free wifi which is very useful. We were also given some breakfast foods for our ongoing trip. ATM machine and convenience store nearby. Didn't look like there was much of a beach area close by - railed off / rocky. I wouldn't say it was somewhere for more than a night's stay. 

The place needs some modernisation and investment in the plumbing system & air con as it was over 40 degrees and not pleasant for sleeping. I wish Khaled the best though as he was a genuinely nice guy and did everything possible to help us which was much appreciated.

Friendly but VERY hot!

I stayed here for a month! Dirty beds, no sheets, no towel, dirty room and even dirtier bathroom!
I had to wake a young guy every day to "make" my breakfast. The owner bought a bottle of whisky but did not pay it ( he stayed away on the day of my departure ) Do not stay here because the manager will try to rob you. Dont lent him a penny !
Most terrible experience ever and I travelled all over the world.

Avoid this place!

Skip this place, its not worth the money. Manager was angry we were only staying one night, room was terrible, mattresses sagging, mouldy fridge in the room, bathroom wasn't clean. When we asked for a towel we were handed one dirty wet towel to use. Owner didn't give one hoot about us and the hotel didn't feel welcoming at all.
The other staff were friendly and kind though, hats off to them for putting up with such a grumpy manager!

No good

Khaled was overly zealous. Slyly took my phone number when I asked for help translating an Egyptian phone operator, so he could keep phoning me to offer guide service.
Located in run down back alley, taxi driver had trouble finding it. 
Paid 100 Egyptian pounds for 2 persons, aircon was fine, private bathroom, too bad there was no mosquito net cause we got annihilated by the little ratbags known as mosquitoes.
Don't tell manager your future plans, as he will try and sell you something.
