Hotel Review: Absolute Perfection

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation. The warm welcome, efficient check-in, and personalized service made us feel valued and truly at home. The attention to detail was impressive, with staff remembering our names and preferences, adding a personal touch that elevated our stay.

The room was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated with modern amenities and plush linens. We had a breathtaking view that showcased the beauty of the surrounding area, and it was clear the hotel took great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Every meal was a culinary experience. The on-site restaurants offered a wide range of options, each dish crafted with care, flavor, and local ingredients. Breakfast was particularly outstanding, with a variety of choices that catered to all dietary preferences.

The facilities were second to none. The pool and spa were pristine, offering a relaxing sanctuary with professional, attentive service. The fitness center was well-equipped and available 24/7, a nice perk for early risers or late-night exercise enthusiasts.

Overall, this hotel was perfect in every way. The dedication to excellence was evident in every detail, from the outstanding customer service to the beautifully maintained amenities. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and eager to return. Five stars, hands down!

Beutiful place, nice personnel. Good food and drinks, lot of choices from both. Even though there are many people, you still find places to eat and drink and hang out. You can choose from optional programs throughout the day, the animation team is great. During the event you have live music and singers. Weather is lovely. Definitely recommend 😍😍😍

Best place is Hurghada: Grand Waterworld

Having visited Makadi Bay and Egypt several times before and staying in Red Sea hotels I was a little disappointed with this hotel.
The weather was great, the beach and sea  fantastic. The food in the hotel was generally pretty good but at a couple of the al a carte restaurants we were rushed through in the evening and the food was cold. 
There was a general lack of information. Nothing in the rooms about  services and after several days we found out from another guest that beverages in the room and a kettle were available for 15 euros.
Throughout our stay there was no soap in the reception gents toilets and I reported this twice but nothing ever happened. This is unacceptable as it prevents basic good hygiene, but there were no issues in any of the other toilets which there were plenty of.
On day 1 I tried using the pools which looked lovely but they were so cold that I came straight out. For the remainder of our stay I stuck with the beach but to get a spot you had to get there early in the morning.
There was one occasion when I was sat around the pool that I had to ask the animation team to turn off the music as what they were playing was offensive and totally inappropriate for children and many guests. They were slow in responding to the point that another guest unplugged the mains chord.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and on the whole we had a good stay but with a little attention to some details it could have been better.

It was only OK

The best part of this hotel is definitely the beach. There is coral and you can see a lot of fish. The service is good. Rooms are good. They take a good care of you. Nice staff. The food is okay. Our second time here. Would definitely recommend. My family was happy with this hotel.

the service is the best everyone is really nice and the drinks are really good the vibes are unmatched. the beach is really beautiful amd the weather is perfect. we had a lot of fun I would definitely recommend coming here. also the guests are also very nice to everyone. the slides and the epxerience is all around good

We had a wonderful trip, The beach is beautiful and there are a lot of activities. The rooms are big but it needs more cleaning. The restaurants are pretty small and not really hygienic. The food needs too be more diverse. But a big problem is that The wifi is free only in the lobby.

Grand Water World hotel

The hotel was lovely and big.the rooms were really big i went with my hubby and 3 children.We loved it.so many different pools to choose from.they had activities going on throughtout the day both by the pool and the beach.animation team in the evening were really good.good evening shows.most staff were friendly and really helpful.hotel had a la carte resturants as well as their own returant which were nice so we weren’t always eating at the same place.we had an amazing time.the private beach was nice and clean.staff on the beach were really friendly too.we will defo be visiting again in the future.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews, as we hadn't travelled to Hurghada since 2011. 
Our experience was very bad, although we did have a good time altogether because we always make sure we make the most of our time away together as a family and we also happened to have ment a lovely family who made our trip even better and memorable. Nothing to do with the hotel or facilities itself though.

First of all, as you arrive, the reception staff is already annoyed with you and it is the type of 'it is what it is' situation - if you are not happy, they don't care. The rooms are so dirty, unhygenic (the dust and dirt is shocking) and there is water every so often. Of course you cannot use the tap water even to rinse your toothbrush...They havent invested or refurbished since they opened 20 years ago. Considering the tap water is out of bounds, you would think they would bring water bottles to your room but NO, you have to go and get them every day yourself at a specific bar which can be a good 15 mins walk from your room (the premises are huge).

There is no kettle in the room unless you pay 15 euros a week, oh and everything is in euros or american dollars so they can't even bother to convert in British pounds if you want to know how much it is - they dont even give you the prices in egyptian pounds. You will be asked several times a day to act as a bureau the change by the staff who want to convert their tips into a different currency. There are no tissues, no bin liners, the towels are literally brown from dirt and I can't even describe the smell of the bed linen. There was old blood stains (or poo, who knows) in our bed and they didn't change them until day 3.

Then, the buffet food - diabolical. I am not sure how many times they convert left overs into new dishes but they definitely use salt to cover and sanitise the stale. It is really vile. You can of course book many of their 'a la carte restaurants' which is slightly better but bear in mind the drinks are not included and a beer is about £8 and wine £30 which isn't remotely good quality. IF you don't tip, you will get ignored and you will get bad service - not by all of the staff but at least 80% of them act like that.

The sun loungers - you can't reserve them yourself but the staff will do it for you if you kindly tip about £3 a day. No comment.

The pool is absolutely freezing so it will take all your might to dip or do one pathetic lane before your nipples burst and god knows, before you have a stroke.

The kids waterpark is open from 10.30pm to 12.30pm then 2.30pm to 4.30pm. In the meantime there is nothing at all to do for the kids (since they refuse to go in the pool, it's too bloody cold).

I would rate it a poor 3 stars. It should be a lot cheaper because at the end of the day you have to pay for so much extra if you want something bearing decent. Everytime you flush the toilet, it smells of the entire region's sewage, and the tap water is brown.

The highlight beside the weather was the evening entertainement - not always great but they do do have something planned every evening. 

The lazy river doesn't work, at all. it's just a cld pool filled with leaves and dead insects.

Lastly the type of customers: expect to be invisible where people walk straight at you for the sake of a slice of bread. They pile their plates like it's their last meal on earth and they drink booze from 9am. I managed to witness 3 young kids on the verge of drowning in the pool because they were unattended and because the 'lifeguard' is on his own dealing with a very large pool and he is also required to do other odd jobs during his shift. Overall mostly germans, russian speaking, some french and some english guests but the caliber was really chavvy. Lots of swearing and shouting.

The silver lining is that I lost 2kg during that holiday - a combo of terrible food and drinks and constant stress. We spent at least £150 on tips just to get a seat and drinks, the occasional pop corn and wahtnot.

On our last day, we were offered 'something special' if we wrote a review there and then. I didn't take it on because I believe reviews should be honest - of course what we deem a 2 might be a 10 for someone else, but I wanted to be honest.

To recap, I will never ever go there again. Im sure I forgot the half of it already but I would just say, don't go! I don't know how tour operators work but the people we befriended paid 1k less than us so unless you pay max 2k for 10 days, go somewhere else! We paid nearly 4k.
