This lodge is nestled in the valley of the most luscious rainforest with a beautiful river running through the area. We went swimming every day, the water was so refreshing and it truly felt like an authentic rainforest experience. The isolated position of the lodge made the whole adventure so much more exciting! We definitely had some of the best meals of our 3 month trip at this lodge. The food was absolutely, indescribably delicious. The ingredients used were all local and we got to try all kinds of new fruits and local delicacies. I can't stress this enough: THE FOOD WAS MIND BLOWING. The family who run the lodge were so so so friendly and welcoming we really felt incorporated into their little family! The beach was fantastic and they offered great facilities for us to have a fire. We honestly couldn't have been treated better, everything was perfect and we can't wait to return! See you soon playa selva lodge!
