No, really – it does! Cernice consists of a few houses, an old church and this hotel. The building is old, adapted from a farm, with a courtyard and a backyard with animals, but rooms are nicely decorated and sensibly furnished with comfortable large beds, clean modern bathrooms and free wi-fi. The only thing lacking are dark curtains or blinds in some of the windows. You park right outside the hotel for free. There’s a restaurant downstairs offering a small selection of basic dishes good for supper and serving simple buffet breakfast. These weren’t the top-most meals I’ve ever had but fresh and good enough. The restaurant also offers wine by glasses and drought beer, so on weekends it might be a bit loud in the evening, thus it’s sensible to choose a room which doesn’t overlook the courtyard. Otherwise the place is quiet and comfy. Credit cards accepted!
