I have to say that I have not stayed in such a "contradictory" accommodation as this in a long time. Therefore, after a long delay, I decided to write some review again. The house looks very nice - a nicely designed mountain chalet, wood everywhere, fancy staircase lighting, beautiful metal railings, friendly staff... but after the first day/night one finds out that it is all just an "effect" and it is unfortunately far from the reality of a nice accommodation in the mountains.

And it starts with the corridor - you can't grab the beautiful metal railing. The rooms are like in a basement because the windows are two meters from the floor, the double beds have two separate mattresses... and there are many similar things. But I'll list the three most important - space, noise and ignoring what a mountain chalet on the slope is for. I'll start with space - the rooms here are really VERY small. I was amazed at how someone could put seven beds into a "family" room (consisting of two small rooms) - by the way, we were two adults and three small children, if there were seven of us, let alone adults, I'd move right out. How can anyone possibly (let alone in a room with that many beds) put a miniature sink in a bathroom that is usually only used in separate toilets? Why isn't there even a single mini table in the room (I know, there is no space for that...)? Why are there only TWO towel hooks in the bathroom (it's not even about space!)? And so the list goes on. 

The other major thing is the noise. There is absolutely no noise reduction of any kind, both to the hallway and to the adjacent rooms (upstairs and between floors). The third major thing is the fact that they sort of forgot that skiers can live here. There is a ski room (by the way, there's not enough room for skis and boots of all the residents, as we found out), but there's no rack in the entire room, no place to put anything you need to dry (and, world wonder, it does need to be dried). You have just the two hooks in the bathroom for the towels...

I don't know, but the authors and owners could never really accommodate here. We made the reservation here based on the fact that we really liked the food and design at Hradečanka and didn't think the accommodation reality would be so different - I understand that Jeřabinka is not a hotel, but a guesthouse, but there are no family rooms at Hradečanka... so two points for cleanliness and design and one for the restaurant at Hradečanka, which is really great - perfect italian food at location you wouldn't expect.
