Aurora Apartments

We stayed at the Arora Apartments in Peyeia to enjoy some rest and relaxation in the sun. The 2-bed, 1st floor apartment is large, light and airy, very clean and offers everything two, four or six people could possibly want for their stay and there is dedicated parking next to the apartments with three ways to access the entrance. The large double bedroom room is spacious and the bed comfortable as are the two single beds in the second bedroom. The living room has enough sofa space for six to sit comfortably and the largest sofa offers a double bed if needed. There is a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool which enjoys full sun in the morning until early afternoon when the sun moves around to the rear of the apartment so is enjoyed all day as the living room is dual aspect. I noticed that the apartment doesn't get too hot as the sun moves around which is ideal for those of us who like it hot, but not scorching and there are ceiling fans in all the rooms to keep you cool. There is one bathroom with a shower and a bath (my husband would be delighted with the bath) and the extractor fan is very efficient. Sitting on the balcony in the sunshine for breakfast and lunch is such a pleasure and clothes dry overnight so pop everything into the washing machine and you can wear it again tomorrow! There is an up to date smart TV with a full range of TV, Films and Radio and the owner has supplied a DVD player and some other entertainment items. The apartments are mostly residential so quieter than the normal holiday apartments on offer throughout Europe. If you stay here, please respect the peace and quiet enjoyed by the residents and consider the neighbours who are very welcoming and friendly. Peyeia has changed enormously over the years. My last visit was 11 years ago and I was pleasantly surprised to find new shops, supermarkets, upgraded roads and much more choice of everything on offer in this town and in Coral Bay at the bottom of the hill. Cyprus is multicultural now with many Europeans, Russians and Chinese enjoying the ambience and friendly welcome on this beautiful island which is well worth a visit.
