We stayed there for 9 days. It was a great apartment with a fantastik view. The apartment was clean and there were all you needed. The host  was very friendly and helpfull.  I can truthly recommend this place.

Beautiful country Croatia, Makarska is very beautiful. Owners friendly (it is other way?) , enough space and pleasant, clean, fully equipped, as was shown in the photos, amazing sea views, but ... I was booking 11 days and during this time there is no Maid never trash we went alone and we made ourselves clean or not wrote this presentation website of the hotel. It's only fair that others wanted to know these things, because if we knew, we seek another location for vacation that just so called vacation not to do cleaning at home ... I thought it was the right price for 1.5 km from the nearest beach, but we did not take any garbage? So we used to travel to other countries that are at this level, hence our discontent, otherwise we would have given the holiday grade 10!

Stayed at Katarina, Makarska, in June / July 2013

Stayed at Katarina aprartments in July. Owner is called Marija and is extremely friendly and helpful. She met us at the bus station after a long drawn out journey from Zadar and drove us to the villa.

Through emails beforehand she described the apartment as quite small, however we were pleasantly surprised by the size. The bathroom was spacious and the balcony had a view of the coast. There were olive and pomegrante trees growing outside the balcony. Marija even gave of some of her home grown tomatoes. The apartment was spotless and had a modern finish with wooden floors and comfortable beds.

The location is a path leading down to the old square, about 8-10 min walk. The only downside is the path is quite steep so not good for elderly or those with disabilities. It was extremely hot in July so climb might be more manageable in cooler weather or another alternative would be to hire a car or scooter as there is a road which although longer is less steep.
A small supermarket is close by, delicious cheese, meats and bread. Lovely wine only 18 Kuna (just over £2)

Had fantastic holiday in Croatia, first time there but will definitely be back.
