We came to Makarska without any accommodation booked and after we park the car and check the beach, we started the search. 

Right next to the beautiful beach we found this apartment with lovely views to the see, perferct location and good price. At least one of the friendly owners were at the house all the time, and they advise us on many activities and restaurants. 
The apartment was beautiful, cosy, very clean and had all what we needed. 

We were very sattisfied here and we even extended our stay for extra 3 nights.
We reccommend to visit this apartment, we will return for sure asap :)


Perfect stay

We just used this a a place to stay on the way down to Dubrovnik. It was basic but very clean. The bed was really comfy but the rest of the furniture was old. The sea views are obscured by trees but the nearest beach is just one minute down hill and was also where you access the promenade with lots of nice restaurant on the walk into the centre of Makarska. 
Free parking too and the owner was very helpful.

Basic apartment but location was great,

Some rooms we looked into were nice looking, our room was not so nice. We got a large room filled up with old, outdated dark brown and black cabinets. 

This "studio" is one big room plus a small bathroom. There was space for a sofa or a couple of armchairs, but there were none. In front of the TV the host had arranged a double bed. In one corner of the room there were a piano.

In the small bathroom the host stored a washing machine that took most of the floor space. The host told it was broken and the electric plug was taped on back to this machine, but both water tubes to this machine was properly installed, as the machine was not broken at all. Over the mirror in the bathroom, only one bulb was present, and the second bulb socket was left open. Under this light we found the only bathroom amenities, a one inch standard hotel soap presented on the washbasin. 

The kitchen corner in the room had a washing machine for cups that was not listed in the inventory, so we assumed it was "broken" too, and there was not a single washing tablet provided for this machine. A coffee machine was present, but not a single coffee filter was provided. The old stove had two gas heaters and two electric plates that took forever to heat up just a little instant coffee water. Looking up over the stove plates, into a hole where the stove overhead lights resided, revealed an extremely dirty and unhygienic arrangement covered with old, brown, rancid fat from years of cooking, see this uploaded photo. After a search throughout the kitchen, the only extra provided was a half bottle of salt, see this uploaded photo too.

There were no welcome drink upon arrival, and as we opened the noisy, old fridge in hope of a water bottle, there was none, but the host pointed out we could drink the tap water without the risk of getting sick.

This is pretty much how you might start your holiday, if you get this room. 

And there is one more thing: There is no real sea view as advertised from this apartment, the balcony faces a parking lot under some trees that block nearly all that sea view, see this uploaded photo.

The building and stairs up to the rooms looks nice and new. The balcony door was up to date and soundproof. Toilet paper was provided. On departure the host gave us a cheap souvenir to remember our stay.
