Hostel Oktarin

I went to Croatia this August for the first time, also on my own travelling for the first time, so naturally I had no idea what to expect but thought the price was reasonable and the location looked ideal. When I arrived Jako (the owner) was fantastic. He was very kind and hospitable, and had great knowledge about travelling around the area. The room itself was well kept. But don’t expect a five star hotel - the vibe at Oktarin is more like a home from home, with decent showers and a beautiful garden area to chill out whenever. The lovely location right by the beach made things easy for data when I just wanted to chill, and there’s a bar right on the beach (cash only though so be prepared for that). The people I met made there experience for me, but in general the atmosphere at Oktarin is very relaxing and chill. I felt safe, and looked after there. Perfect for first timers or people travelling on their own. Everyone was very respectful and easy to talk to there. Good vibes only at Oktarin!!! I would 100% recommend
