Ylang Ylang Ocean View Villas

We were here in 2018 and it was such an amazing time we came back to do it again in 2020. Everyone is super-helpful from before you even arrive. The property is amazing, and the staff can cater to your every need. The villas are large and great for families. Our villa was like a mansion for just two of us. Monkeys and exotic birds are everywhere. The best part is the beach, by far. It's huge, and at any given time there are maybe 100 people, tops, across an entire mile of beautiful sand. And you have your own reserved space with chairs and umbrellas, and a really nice guy named Michael is standing by to bring you lunch or drinks or whatever you need. There are also numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance or by taxi. We particularly liked Buena Vista Beach Club, Buru, Morpho and El Largato the best. Juan Pablo and the concierge staff are all very accommodating and can arrange whatever you want, including all kinds of excursions to go on - zip lining, whale watching, jungle tours, etc. It's a really great trip for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of luxury in Costa Rica, and we'll be back for sure. We miss it already!
