Very nice Hostel with good restaurant. The burgers there are delicious.
Everything is very clean, the room is a bit smelly but if you open the window it is fine.
The location is just perfect (1 minute to the beach) and the staff is really friendly und guest orientated. 
All in All a perfect hostel for that price. :)

Nice Hostel

Great pancakes for a nice breakfast before a beautiful day at the beach! Food is well priced and location is just a few hundred feet from playa Jaco! We didn’t stay at the hostel but the area is very nice and safe for travelers! Enjoy

Jaco is paradise! When you visit you must check out Beds on Bohío. The staff is friendly and engaging and will make you feel welcome and at home. Great food, great vibes, and the best people you will ever meet!

Best week ever!

We recently visited Jaco Beach and stumbled upon this glorious place. The ambiance was chill which is exactly what we were looking for. The strawberry smoothie was amazing. By far, the best burger on Jaco beach!  Definitely a must if you are in the area

Best burger in Jaco

This hostel is excellent. The vibe is so chill; the staff is super friendly and sweet. The restaurant food is good, tasty; try the burgers, they are awesome. The location is right next to the beach and right in the middle of everything. Prices are very affordable.

Pura vida in Bohio

Just a few steps from the beach and shops. Food is good and good prices. Enjoy a nice burger while watching the local people and dogs roam the streets. Smoothies are nice and fresh. The employees are nice.

Cool local spot

We didn't have our hopes up before we arrived and they were met. We only selected this place because it was the cheapest option we could find and we were only staying because we couldn't go any further travelling that day. Despite it being the cheapest option in Jaco for us, it was the most expensive accommodation we paid for in all of Costa Rica!

The place is ok, friendly staff, they give out wrist bands so supposedly only guests can enter the property. We had a private room and it was alright, but very hot. Only a slow moving fan in the centre of the roof, so we had to move the bed to sleep under it. Our room was very large, but not really any shelves or benches in it to put anything on, so we just had to lay everything out on the floor. The bathroom was ok, but only cold water, so shower in the evening after it has warmed up during the day, if you don't like cold showers.

There's a pool, but we couldn't use it due to a large Spanish family occupying it for the entire afternoon.

There's a kitchen with some utensils for making dinner if you want. There's not really many (or any) cheap sodas in Jaco, it's very much a surfer party town.

The only really bad thing was the place is very loud, right into the early hours of the morning, not because of the hostel, but the place next door, so if you're a light sleeper you'll hate it. Thankfully we were super tired and just collapsed in to bed.

Ok, but we won't be back

I was not pleased with my stay at Beds in Bohio since the first night. When I made the reservation thru Booking.com I was offered 2 drinks per night for women for every night of our stay. This is what my reservation clearly specified. When I asked for the drinks for my three female friends, first we were told it was only valid on Friday and Saturday night, but then we were told that it was a mistake, that the owner of the place cancelled that offer but “forgot to inform Booking.com”. This was not appreciated as it is false advertisement, we were highly disappointed. Also, we stayed for three days/two nights and our rooms were never cleaned, considering it was a triple room, we were expecting daily room service. The pool area was nice, but we could not hang out in there as there were two your girls (12 years old maybe) playing ball inside the pool, splashing water all over the place without any proper supervision. The pool regulations clearly stated the pool was not to be used after 10 pm, and they stated there splashing water until 1 am. We had to go sit somewhere else to avoid being splashed.The rooms only have one fan and they can get pretty, up to the point where it is very uncomfortable being inside the room.Overall, we did not have a nice experience at the hotel and were quite disappointed, because we were hoping to have nice memories of our vacation.

Dissapointed

I booked for 1 night in this hostel as it was cheap. I was initially booked in 4 bed dorm expecting it to be spacious but the beds were so cramped inside you couldn't get a place for your bags. I moved to the 6 bed dorm which was more spacious.
When I arrived they charged me more than what was on the booking.com price stating there prices are different than booking. They overcharge you for the room. The volunteer staff are helpful and friendly. I would not recommend staying here 

A crap place

Booked for three nights and franticly left after 1.  The worst hostel we stayed in by far. Thieves took our beer and the vibe was trash. KITCHEN WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING and the fridges were small and full of takeout boxes. Worst sleep we ever got in the hot, sticky, humid rooms. 3 weeks in Costa Rica and I regret stepping foot in the city as it does not do this amazing country justice.
