There is the good and the bad.  The good is that it is close to Pingjiang Street which is a nice spot to stroll especially in the evening.  The bad out weights the good.  First, it does not accept international credit cards.  Depending on the rooms assigned, they tend to be smaller than usual, plus water pressure is low for the showers.  They have a pushy travel desk agent.  The breakfast is forgettable.  The icing is that they have poor service for both front and house keeping staff.  We traveled 19 days in China, and this would be the worse hotel that we stayed in for this budget class.  I believe that you could consider other hotel options.

Poor service, low water pressure and does not accept international credit cards

Stayed for 3 nights. It's right by Pingjiang Road, lots of places to eat and shop within 5 - 10 minutes walk. The staff speak a little English - all very young and disinterested in customer service. Check-in was fairly easy, they did not accept foreign debit or credit cards, only cash. They also require 100¥ deposit (refundable on check-out with yellow receipt). 
The room was basic and cleaned daily, with fresh towels. There is soap and shampoo in the bathroom. We had the heat on full blast all night and the room was freezing. The bed was comfy and warm though. 2 bottles of water were provided daily. No fridge. We were given a token for breakfast on the first day, not sure why only one day. You are given a plate with 2 pieces of bread, a baozi, some stir fry, half an apple, a boiled egg, ham and a piece of boiled corn. Not particularly to my taste, so not worried that it was only one morning. Coffee is extra 13¥ for an Americano. Not worth it, in my opinion, go to Starbucks round the corner.
Wifi is free and worked well throughout the hotel. 
There are several buses to take you to the main sights and a subway station a few minutes walk away. 
A great location for us as we were visiting friends nearby and was reasonably priced too. Just don't stay in winter!

Good value in great location

The hotel has quite good and well equipped rooms. Breakfast offers a good selection of local and international food.
Its a hotel complex with different buildings and a lovely garden as you would expect in Suzhou. Service in the hotel was just ok why I give 4 stars. There were some funny muss communications. E.g: after noon tea in the lobby bar we were recommended by the staff. Only to find out that they meant that this is the only place they serve you a cup of tea in the after noon. No food, snacks or anything else. Tea only 😊
Hotel is a bit outside of the walking streets. I would recommend a taxi going there.

Nice hotel

The place is next to Pingjiang road, so if this is your first time it is a good place to stay. I found the prices to be too expensive for what it offers. It is basically a budget hotel: the rooms have no fridge and no safe. The included breakfast is pathetic, and it does not even include coffee! Very mixed feelings about this place

Good location but that's all 

Great service, yes English is not very well spoken so learn mandarin! It's not that hard. Staff are keen to help. Had a nice lunvh time snack, food was great and huge portions. Make a stop here and check it out
