La Boaventura

This place is just so lovely... It’s located real close to Praia d‘Diante almost directly at the beach in Sal Rei. There is everything in short walking distance: supermarkets, bank/cash machine, shops, restaurants and...the ocean 🥰 The house itself is welcoming and friendly, we spent hours just hanging at the hippie-esque patio that has couches, chairs, hammocks, lampions, a giant maracuja tree, a few sweet cats...well, and Toby, the dog 😍 Francoise, the host, is around basically all the time to help with anything and everything and his staff is friendly and super-kind. The rooms are clean and have everything you need unless you expect one of these boring five-star-all inclusive-one style fits all-resort in the middle of nowhere-kinda rooms that make you forget where you are as they are same-same wherever *yawn* The breakfast is yummie and consists of bread, various marmelades (loved the plum one), yogurt, cheese and ham plus an occasional maracuja right from the tree straight to your mouth, mmmmh 🤤 Oh, and the guesthouse comes with making new friends from all over the world, capeverdean or rest of earth, to top it off 🤗
