The unit was spacious and comfortable and reasonably close to the elevator. Access to the ski out was a plus, though we were not there for the skiing. It was a short walk to the upper village as well as into town. This time of year was a strange mix of icy or muddy depending on the temperature of the day & snow conditions. Parking was easy and convenient. Hot tub was large and packed apres skiing. Free transit offered by Whistler Village is wonderful and convenient. All around a great stay.

The Aspens Were A Nice Surprise

We specifically booked this place for the use of the kitchen area.  The fridge stopped working the first night and flooded the kitchen.  It spoiled $100 in groceries which in turn also led us to have to eat out and spend more money.

The dishwasher is not mounted and everytime you opened the door it would pull out and tip out of the cabinetry. The masterbed window latch was broke so the window could close all the way and lock.  The unit itself is worse for wear.  Marked up walls, chipped cabinetry, frayed carpet.  On top of all that some glassware was clearly used and put back dirty.  The pictures of the ad were not accurate.

With all the inconveniences we got an $18 refund.  That is an insult.

Unit was in Dis Repair

Luxurious place to stay - a pity we were only there for one night. We had a room overlooking the gondolas. I had a little trail run and we saw our first black bear here [not on my run, fortunately]

Whistler is custom-designed for tourists [don't let that put you off] - neatly manicured lawns and perfect rooms. These rooms are very well appointed with everything you could need.

Perfect place

We really enjoyed our stay, loved our king bed, loved being able to hike out from our resort. Also enjoyed the pool and hot tubs and all that Whistler has to offer, from hiking to biking to paddleboarding to disc golf.

The Aspens in Whistler

Great mountain resort with many walking/bike trails out of the building. This is a ski in/out resort and even though we do not ski, the snow was melting daily and we were able to walk down the slope to the village. 

Relaxing Experience

Great Ski in/Ski out, Loved the pool and Hot Tubs… Ski Valet

The Aspens  was great resort for us, we were there with 3 other families, so we had the opportunity to see four other rooms

427 was the most dated out of the 4 rooms

The layout, though the biggest of the rooms, seemed the smallest, bulky Pullout (which has a broken hinge)  and Chair, over sized Dining table really shrinks the main room 

Kitchen could use some TLC, dishwasher isn’t mounted properly and one burner on the stove is burnt out

Some closets didn’t fully close

We shelled out $900 a night and parking wasn’t included, which at that price was, I thought, odd 

Since we can pick our rooms, next time, I’d stay in an updated room

Great True Ski in/Ski out

Location location location! Skiing and out. Big family with kids. Nice hot tub and outdoor heated pool. Clean room with all the amenities needed. What else do you ask for? If you’re lucky enough to get a room in this place, don’t hesitate. Some People at the outdoor hot tubs during the night were not the most kid friendly adults, with their drinks and loud laughs, but other than that we enjoy your stay. You may choose to go with your children at different time or use the other pool.

Ski in/out ideal location

love this place just wish we could bring our dog great pool and hot tubs easy walk to upper and lower village also close to lost lake for riding bikes or hiking rooms where big if you want to be close to things but not to close this is the place

great location

Overall nice property.  True ski-in ski-out at the bottom of the Merlin run, just above the Blackcomb gondola.  Super convenient walk to both Upper Village and Whistler Village.  Condo was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.  Property charges $20 CAD per night to park, which was both surprising and disappointing.  Only one elevator in working condition for the entire building, which was frustrating.  Ski valet also seems overwhelmed during peak periods.  Difficult to beat the location if you're there to ski.

Great Location but a Couple Detractors

Excellent location, our room was very good. Ski in/ski out was very convenient. All the staff was professional and friendly. There is no easy system to figure how things work around this hotel - parking, ski valet, wifi; for all these things we had to go back to front desk to get information but after the first two days everything went smoothly. The hotel is expensive but overall it was worth the money.
