We had a nice stay and will book again nxt time we come to the Island.

Friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms.

While at first we were quite impressed with the oceanside view, location, air-conditioning and the unit was nicely renovated... it was a comedy of errors otherwise! We're a family of four - there was one spoon, one knife, and three forks only in the cutlery drawer. The cook top didn't work at all (so couldn't even boil the kettle), and the beds were pretty miserable. Though it was pretty clean overall, there was dog hair on the sofa and a dog toy under the bed - with allergies we would not have booked this. Also the booking confirmation said to check in at 4pm (but apparently we could have arrived from 2pm)... so the kids were gutted to miss out on the . waterslide as its open only 1 to 4pm .

Good at first glance only... wouldn't stay again

We came in late so didn’t get to check everything out, but our kids loved the playground and we noticed there was lots of cool things to do here. Would come back for sure !

Booked for my family to stay the night while on Vancouver Island. Room was dirty, no air conditioning or even black out blinds. Only a disgusting filthy table fan was provided to cool the room during this heat wave. We decided that we would make the best of it since we have two small kids and there was a pool and playground. Went to the playground, was literally made of garbage. Broken down. Missing pieces, overgrown. Fine, we will try the pool. Wait, NOPE, it’s a slough that has been under construction for YEARS apparently. We were there for 2 hours and checked out. Found a nice spot in Qualicum Beach that was way better. None of the broken crap amenities were listed on their website. Stay far away. Go literally anywhere else.

Fabulous setting.  Only complaint was that there weren't many restaurants around the area, particularly if you arrived in the evening.

Stayed here with a bunch of other families for a softball tournament in Port Alberni because it thought it was close. 45 mins away was a long drive both ways each day, times 3 days. Motel and trailer park was old. A long of things were old outside but the rooms were renovated. New fridge but pull out couch and bed were old. Nice if you want a quiet and safe place but not cheap for my room.

Good location by the beach. Clean. Friendly staff. Was told sheets were underneath sofa bed but none found. Disappointed that resort amenities such as pool/waterslide not available. Also playground could use updating. Amenities not as advertised.

Property was older, but clean & comfortable. Internet was spotty at best.

This is a beautiful area to spend time. We were here for a wedding. The room needs a wash basin for dishes.
