Hôtel Cap Diamant

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel Cap Diamant for several nights in January and loved it! The hotel has been recently updated and is so beautifully done. The breakfasts in the morning were delicious. The croissants are baked by a person who won "the best croissant" contest in Quebec and they are delicious! There is also a wine machine in the lobby. You are given a wine card so you can have a glass of red or white any time which will be charged to your room. There is also a Nespresso machine in each room (and in the breakfast area) and a mini refrigerator. Most importantly, everyone there was so nice and helpful! They all gave us their recommendations on what we should see and do and which restaurants they loved. We discovered some delicious "non touristy" places because of their suggestions. The location could not be any better as it's in the middle of old Quebec and only a 5- or 10-minute walk from anywhere you'd like to go. The rooms are on three floors so if you have mobility issues that may pose an issue. They do have an old school service elevator. It's not big enough for a person, but they use it to send your luggage up and down which was a great service. I highly recommend this quaint spot! If and when I return, I'll absolutely stay here again!
