In September, I discovered Clayburn Bed and Breakfast in Abbotsford and made reservations. 
I was warmly greeted by hosts of the lovely Victorian B & B and shown my choices of rooms to stay in. Each suite was draped in elegance and enriched in the history of the residence, along with the area. 
I was given a tour of the breakfast area and provided choices for my meal. 
I noticed the finer details of this Bed and Breakfast, such as bedding, amenities and presentation all were handled with utmost care. 
In the evening, I went for a walk and upon my return; I decided to take a stroll thru the gardens. The intricate details of the home are carried out into the courtyard. I enjoyed discovering what lay around every corner and could only imagine the splendour in springtime. 
The claw tub is perfect for a nice soak and prepares you for the restful sleep in the luxurious bed, with a fireplace. In the morning, I was treated to an array of homemade delicacies. One of the best breakfast’s I have ever had! My entire stay was a memorable one, with fantastic hosts and a step back in time in Clayburn Village. 


Reminiscent Stay Indicative of Charming Past

What a wonderful little place. With wonderful owners! We decided to try something new and opt for a B & B this time we were in the area, and we did not regret it. In fact, when we are staying in the area again we won't be happy anywhere else! Ramsey and Leslie we thank you for such a quiet, and cozy stay. The Orchard room was gorgeous (I am envious of the whole thing!), the bed was like a cloud, and the hot breakfast in the morning was just what we needed to start our day. 

We will be back!

Clayburn Village is off the beaten path but well worth the trip. A quaint historical village is also home to a charming bed and breakfast. The home that houses Clayburn Bed and Breakfast was built in 1906 and has been sympathetically and sensitively updated, respecting the home's original charm. Our hosts, Leslie and Ramsay, were warm and welcoming. The breakfast part of the b&b was beautifully presented, delicious and plentiful.  

Afterwards, you can walk off your breakfast by exploring their gardens and then the village.  Stay here. You won't be disappointed!

A Step Back in Time With Old Fashioned Hospitality

As others say, this was a great place to stop in for the night. Wished I had another couple of nights to stay. Great attention to detail, amazing little community to take a walk in, quiet spot, great rooms. And you can hardly hear other people around.

This B and B was lovely --a turn of the century home furnished with antiques. The bed was very comfortable and my room was charming. The owners thought of everything--from a nice face soap and make up remover in the bathroom to the bottles of brandy and sherry in the living room for guests.  My room had a fireplace, an air conditioner (I was there in the summer) and large TV. It was a quiet location. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. The owners were friendly.
