when your in Siem Reap there is not much time to linger around the accommodation, was busy cycling around Angkor Wat, eating and drinking in town, hence it was nice to have the hostel further away from town, so it's quiet and relaxing. Plus the people we've met there were really cool, both staff and tourists. I advise against the in house breakfast though. The swimming pool was clean and we had a fun splash in there. People who complain a lot about it perhaps want 5* luxury on 2* prices, that's unrealistic. For what you pay this place was good.

My stay in Earthwalkers was very satisfying. It's a guesthouse so don't expect too much. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. Staff always nice and helpful. Shower was warm but amenities good do a bit better. Pool is bigger than in most guesthouses. Coffee and hot water available. Location is about 3-4km from city centre, in a quiet lane off Airport Rd, safe to travel at night. Good location for cyclists, easy parking for bicycle. Rooms near the pool or upstairs and very affordable. Would be happy to stay here next time!

I stayed here based on a recommendation from a friend and found it to be a great place.  The accommodations were clean and looked after and the food for purchase was fantastic!  I have to say, there was also a great group of people staying there when I was there and we did a lot of hanging out together and enjoying the pool.  The town is a bit far so if you are looking for somewhere you can walk out the door and be in the thick of it, this is not the place for you.  If you are looking for relaxation, ability to enjoy the ruins and also the ability to get to town but not be buried in it, I'd highly recommend this place as a great budget accommodation.

Quiet location, friendly staff, nice pool

Had a great stay

The pool is a real plus but crime is a real issue as we learned first hand. The manager's English is very good but even if it were not for the crime risks, there is little reasons to choose this hotel. Nothing is close by and there are similarly priced options nearer to the centre of town.

Lovely pool, poor location, terrible security

For a cheap hotel, you get a cheap experience. Bathroom floor was really dirty, shower didnt get hot, no bathroom amenities, towels are really crappy (I've never complained about a towel before). No wifi in the rooms. 

The pool is probably the nicest thing there. 

Breakfast was simple and fine. Nothing worth remembering. 

The location is the worst part. Expect to spend almost $10 for a round trip on tuk tuks. The drivers don't like driving so far out of the city so it's extra hard to haggle. Not walking distance from anything a tourist would want to do.
