Brisamar Suite Hotel

This was home for our group of 19 for 9 nights. The group included 8 high school students and 11 adults participating in a mission trip. The rooms were small but adequate, however the service was exceptional. Even though there was very little English spoken or understood, the staff was quite helpful. It has to be one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed. The breakfast (which is included) was a big hit with our group. In addition to the array of breads, meats, cheeses and fruit, our group of Americans enjoyed having three varieties of cake for breakfast. Besides great coffee there was a number of juices to choose from (most of them we did not recognize but enjoyed trying). Wi-Fi was adequate. Some rooms have small balconies, some with views of the bay. A good restaurant and supermarket are within walking distance. There is a bus stop near the front drive. The property is fenced in with a closed gate at night although our group never felt unsafe in the hotel or while walking down the street. We were at this property in the off-season so the pool was not in use and had a few leaves in it but otherwise looked nice. Great place to stay if you don't need to be on the island.
