We visited this pousada in the month of July and we loved it! Clean, beautiful spacious rooms within a beautiful garden. Regarding the service, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and there is plenty of choice!

Excellent

We had a very hard time finding this place with GPS.  It turns out we were within a few blocks.  I recommend to arrive during the day instead of the evening like us and bring a printed map.

When we did arrive, they kindly gave us some snacks and hot chocolate as it was too late to go for dinner.  My spouse though was in need of a beer and ventured to local spot near the beach.  The beach was only two block always.  

The service at the pousada was very friendly and the food at breakfast was fresh and tasty.  The only place we visited in Brazil where the pao de queijo was warm from the oven. Yum!

The place was quiet and quaint.  The many flowering plants and art pieces created a relaxing atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay.

Would return in a heartbeat!

The pousada flor da terra is wonderful, great breakfast, excellent staff!! Beautiful pool, confortable room with a big bed and clean bathroom. Amazing garden with beautiful birds. Near of old town and only 100 meters of the beach. Super advisable. I will back!!!!!

PERFECT

We loved our stay here. Clean, great breakfast, spacious, quiet. 

The only negative thing I have to say is that it is quite far from the town, so you'll either spend $60R getting there and back or you'll walk. The walk isn't so far for most people but at night it can be quite intimidating. There is one part of the route that is pitch black for at least 100m and there are some strange people walking about there or cars and motorbikes doing 80km/h.

There is a bus, but I don't think it's very regular and finishes about 9 or 10pm. 

But if this doesn't worry you then stay here. If you have a car then even better! The beach there is unusable, you'll have to go on one of the boat trips. The beaches there are fantastic. There are some nice kioskes and a few restaurants in the part of town where the pousada is if you don't feel like going in to town.

I don't know if the owner speaks English and my girlfriend and I were talking in Portuguese. 

I didn't want to leave. A fantastic place.

Fantastic place, if not a little far from town

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Flor da Terra. It is very clean, the rooms are spacious and well decorated with a large bathroom and very comfortable bed. 
The wifi worked great as well. 
Renato is incredibly nice and accommodating, and takes very good care of the posada and his guests.
It is located very close to a beautiful beach with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and a 20 minute walk to the historical city centre.
We highly recommend staying here!!

Fantastic Stay and Value - Highly Recommend

This pousada is right next to the beach (5 minute walk) and a short cab ride from the old town. The guy running it is an absolute darling. There is a nice sized pool, empty most of the time, and they play decent music during the day. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. The room suited our needs perfectly. It was clean with a large shower, fan, WiFi and a very comfortable bed. It even had a small sofa, a flat screen and mini fridge. Outside we had a hammock and a piano...very nice. The kitchen was open air and very well equiped with cooking essentizls. Plenty of room for a few people to cook at once. The breakfast at this place was amZing . The usual fresh fruit, juices, ham and cheese toastie maker etc, but with scrambled egg and sausages !! 10\10 on this front. We checked in at around half 11 and were able to dive straight into a full breakfast (2nd of the day) very nice touch. STAY HERE
