Casa Calexico is a true HOME from HOME!

This little place is filled with personality.  It is so lush with greenery, and the lighting at night made it come alive.  Each unit has an interior bedroom and large bathroom, and the kitchen and eating area is outside on a deck.  They have rinse stations and lockers for dive gear, and a lovely area for relaxing around the pool.  The bbq area was great to cook at for nights that you wanted to stay in, and if you didn't, you were able to walk to many restaurants within a few short blocks. The grocery stores, a gas station, and AB dive are literally around the corner, so location was ideal was us. 

Filip was an exceptional host and super fun, we would love to visit again! 

Atmosphere is Fantastic

10 days of pure joy !
We spent Christmas  2022 and New Year 2023 at Casa Calexico and just had the greatest time of all. 
Our little aprtmemt was squeaky clean, the space outside to cook and relax was surrounded by plants and numerous birds and we had jall we needed  to cook  most of our meals at home. 

The hosts, Els and Filip are just darlings and felt like longtime friends. They allowed us to use the gas BBQ and we had a few drinks with them,  both at the house and on the town. What  a charming and fun couple ! 

Casa Calexico has a  partly shaded  and quite relaxing pool area that we used each day,  There are practical lockers t and wash basins  to keep and dry  your diving equipment and a common area to have drinks or share a meal with other guests, this is a great place to make new friends as there are few people (a total of 6 apartments)  if you wish so but one can also keep quiet on his/her space  if they prefer. 

There is available reserved parking  for the mini-resort but ample space to park on the street as well since this is a mostly residential area but  still very well situated quite close to a few supermarkets  (we recommend  Warehouse Bonaire for good variety and good prices)  and a 5-7 minutes walk to the sea promenade in the city. We had rented scooters for most of our stay and even brought our hear woth us on them. 

We will definitely lodge at Casa Calexico if we come back to Bonaire.

Pure bliss !

I was there as a part of scuba project and among all the others I stayed in the best place hands down. The rooms are for 2 people only and have quite large bathroom. Kitchen is outside so you get to have your coffee among exotic birds and palm trees. Totally clean and covid safe. Owner Philip is an excellent host. He is attentive, very friendly and professional. Maico the manager after Philip, is also very friendly and helpful. They keep a great operation running successfully here. There is a nice bbq area next to the pool. Very close to the beach, 3 minutes of walking.

Excellent place to stay as in a little gem

Casa Calexico is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms with outdoor kitchen and dining are awesome! The pool is wonderful. There is locker storage and a rinsing station for dive gear. It is close to town, so walking to get food and drinks is easy. The hosts are very helpful and so welcoming. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Bonaire. Stay here, you will be happy that you did!

Amazing stay at Casa Calexico!

I can't imagine a better place to stay on Bonaire. Everything there is build with love and really beautiful. The rooms are cosy and very clean. The pool invites to relax after the dives or sports. We loved the terrace for reading or chatting in the evening. You will find everything you need in the outdoor kitchen for preparing your dinner. You can also use a barbecue. The owners Audrey and Joop are especially friendly and warm-hearted people. You feel very welcome from the first minute on. I travel a lot but this was definitly the best accommodation I've ever had!!

We stayed for the second time in row in this relaxed guesthouse and will for sure in the future. If you are looking for a cool, stylish place, with the right vibe, walking distance from town and far from crowded resort feeling.. this is the place to stay. Private outdoor kitchen, hammock on your porch and a fine pool make life comfortable. The owners make it great. Diving, Kite or windsurfing? .. or where to have a beer.. Tips and facilities are available!  Must-do for the ultimate laid-back Bonaire feeling!

Cosy Casa Calexico

Very helpful owners, close to the city with a lot of restaurants, supermarket nearby, clean and comfy bungalows with all you need. You need a rental car to explore the island and I recommend to book this in advance.

Perfect Place to stay in Bonaire

When on Bonaire, we always stay in Casa Calexico. Lovingly designed small facility with a nice small swimming pool. Perfect place to relax, chill and feel good. Very friendly and warm welcome. We will definitely come back when on Bonaire
