A completely unexpected gem. We found here by accident and it was just superb. I could not recommend this B and B enough. The warmest welcome with absolutely everything thought of. A completely personal touch across the board in every way. Really cute and quirky personal touches in every room. The breakfast served every morning was divine. There was free coffee, water, even wee treats in the bedrooms such a chocolate etc. A genuinely thoughtful approach, and so rare these days. There is the most incredible garden with a fish pond and hot tub. A completely relaxing environment. An absolute credit to the lovely hosts who could not do enough for you. Anyone considering a trip to Ypres should try to book this fantastic place. The best place i have ever booked. Also, with a beautiful dog, Walter!!

A complete gem, with the warmest welcome

This was our second stay this year and the standard was consistent with our earlier one. Joseline & Jannick are the loveliest and most welcoming hosts, and the breakfasts Joceline produces each morning are a feast with home made breads, jams and fruit pots that are varied each morning. Our room was the Poppy room with the most comfiest bed so we enjoyed fabulous sleep each night. Every aspect of the hosts' offerings make for an  exceptionally warm welcome.

Friendly hosts,  clean and great location

I had a fabulous stay with Joseline & Jannick; who were welcoming and are very knowledgeable about the local area. 

My room was large with a comfortable bed, and spotlessly clean. There were homemade breads and jams with breakfast in their beautifully maintained courtyard garden. 

The B&B is a short walk from the train station, the Menin Gate, museums and market square; where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Parking was easier than I expected for a historic city centre! There is on street parking at the B&B and plenty of free parking just a short walk away.

Clean, friendly & great location

We chose this hotel for our three nights stay for the purpose of seeing the surrounding places of interest and had read some good reviews and we were extremely happy that we did. The hotel was in the middle of the town, within walking distance to various restaurants and shops. The room was spotless, airy and nice and comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and the breakfasts consisted of all Joceline's delicious home made breads, jams, yoghurts etc and so tastefully presented so your mouth watered as soon as you sat down. The garden is beautiful and was where our breakfast was served. And of course we aslo made use of the fabulous jaccuzzi that we fully enjoyed. Free parking was a short walk away which wasn't a problem, so the whole of our stay was indeed very pleasurable and we surely would stay again.

Amazing place.....

We stayed here for two nights last week. Martine was so welcoming and helpful. The house is lovely and our rooms were really comfortable and well furnished. It was also really conveniently located - 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Breakfast was amazing too!

Lovely rooms and welcoming host

Stayed 5th to 7th August 2015.

Second time we have stayed there.  Everything positive you read about this B & B and Martine is true.  Attention to detail, and the location is fantastic.  Martine runs the business with professionalism and friendliness.  Place is spotlessly clean.

Close walking distance to the main areas of Ieper, the Menin Gate and great restaurants.  Parking is in the street out the front and there are some restrictions to parking during business hours.

If you are going to Ieper, do yourself a favour and stay there.

Best B & B Ieper

Stayed one night after WW1 tour. Comfortable and lovely room. We had to leave early next day and the owner made us up a breakfast to take with us. Nice town house central to all museums and other WW1 attractions. A visit to see and hear the Last Post at the Menin Gates is as must when staying in Ypres

We stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent accomadation. Very comfortable rooms and outstanding continental breakfast. Martine is a delightful and helpful host. Lovely back garden. Walking distance to the centre of town and the Menin Gate. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely B&B

Stayed at Ter Thuyne 5 years ago so had to stay here on our return visit to Ypres.  Martine's guest house is just beautifully appointed and special and helped us to enjoy a very emotional visit (to our grandfather's war grave).  Give yourselves a real treat and stay here ..... it's only a few minutes walk from the Cloth Hall and square.  Beautiful continental breakfasts.  I can't recommend Ter Thuyne highly enough.Thanks again Martine.
