We came to the restaurant, highly recommended by the guides, but this restaurant, whose prices are high, seemed superficial to us: relatively classical dishes (smoked salmon salad, minestrone, meat pie) that are good, but without originality, served in a splendid setting and with a great restaurant décor, cloth dishes, a feisty atmosphere... but the level is not there, I felt like we were making a feast. And it's this gap between the appearance of a large restaurant with a large outfit, which you would expect to end up with a real surprise; for an addition of over 300 euros for 6, I've already eaten more refined, simple dishes, or even less attention from local cuisine.

A beautiful table at a superb price

After receiving a Bongo for 2 nights, we booked our stay at the Lake Marsh, which is well located for many walks. Flyers are at your disposal. The rooms are completely renovated and coquetted. We took half board and were very satisfied with the dishes offered - a menu of 4 services. The service is correct and is provided by the employer. If we return to this area, we already know where to stay.

Do it again!

Excellent stay with a place of choice

The room was a little cold when we arrived, but for the rest it was fine. Small enough bathroom, good beds. elaborate dinner with research, well done service, generous lunches, served without restriction. Because of the circumstances and decisions of the moment, it can be understood that there is some tension and anxiety. We are very happy with our stay.

Very good memory

Despite the negative reviews we read, we booked and the reception was very friendly and friendly. Our room 3 was very clean; the bathroom is no longer daytime but very clean. There are, I think, renovated rooms. A cozy and decorative living room; a classic and bright dining room. A copious breakfast. 4 evening services seem too copious. I would prefer a half-pension rate reduction and removal of entrances.

What a surprise.

Five of us enjoyed the hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms, varied, pleasant and well-groomed meals, and the peaceful and beautiful surroundings, very close to Lake Robertville and the High Fagnes Natural Park.

We spent, with 4 friends and friends (group of 6 in total), two days (from 30 December 2019 to 1 January 2020) in this hotel where we were staying for the first time... We spent 3 days with our two teenagers in this small family hotel with 10 very nice rooms located at the foot of the Hautes Fagnes Natural Park. We were positively surprised by the quality and local nature of the dishes served in the evening in half-board (truite in particular). Service was particularly attentive. A new basket of bread was provided as soon as the previous one was empty, without having to ask for it. This is far from always the case in the big hotel chains. The rooms were clean, functional and recently renovated. The bedding was quite convenient. The boss was interested in our activities several times. We are very satisfied with our stay in the whole.

A pleasant family stay and good quality price

Once again we chose to spend Christmas in the Fagnes, at the point where we had fallen for the past 10 years already! Except for the weather, everything was perfect, the well-groomed and seasonal menus. As for the Christmas menu, we left the tracks for a more original and excellent menu. Let's do it again!!!
