We had a great stay in the suite of this B&B. Very warm welcome by the owner, well organized car park close by. The suite was great with fantastic bathroom and comfortable bed. Air-conditioning was working perfect. Everything in this B&B is well thought off and super clean. Breakfast (in Covid style) was super. We'll be back.

Top place to be in Ghent

If I had known how beautiful this is, I would have added another night, just to enjoy the wonderful room a little more and to take one more breakfast in the lush courtyard. Very friendly and helpful host, the best B&B experience ever. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful hideaway downtown Gent

This B&B was amazing! Such a great find & deal. My girlfriend and I found it last minute. Our room was super clean and faced the courtyard, even had a projection screen TV! Super close to most of the sights of the city and Didier was a great host. Will certainly stay here when we return to Ghent. Highly recommend to anyone!

WOW THE BEST!

First-class accommodation, with all the main city attractions in easy walking distance.  An extremely friendly and helpful host.  We were struck by the delicious and relaxed breakfast - a perfect way to start a day seeing the city.  We highly recommend it.

Place to stay in Ghent

We ended our camping holiday with a hotel in Gent, and what an amazing idea that was! Logidenri is an incredibly clean and super nicely decorated B&B. The owners are also very nice, arranging for a nice welcome beer at the pub across the road and being very accommodating in general. Plus, the location is superb! 

Amazing find!

We had the movie room with the big screen and the spacious room with a bath. Both were very comfortable for our four night stay and both had private bathrooms and toilets. Nice breakfast, but be aware you have to ask for it the night before. We got a free drink at the pub across the road on our first night, which was nice. Good location about 15 minutes walk to town. The hosts were lovely and welcoming and gave us local information, which was helpful. Overall, a nice, comfortable, stylish place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay!

Room ok, maintenance bit behind schedule. Room almost above a pub, even though it was sold as a quiet place. Caused us to sleep with the windows closed two nights in a row, with the airco making an irritating noise all night. Location very good when it comes to distance to the centre, but the two bad nights (first night lots of noise from the terrace till 01.00 or so) force us to give a bad rating. Why selling a place as being quiet when it's not true???

did not meet the expectations raised

We stayed for three nights in „The Flames“ room and were pretty disappointed. 

Contrary to what was set out in the room description online, the wifi internet did NOT work most of the time, there etwas NO DVD Player and NO iPod docking station (the friendly owner appeared confused when I asked for one). We also only had one small (NOT double) warm duvet for both of us. With cold nights in October this is not enough. Although the bed was made everyday, the bins were not emptied. 

We had less and less towels as after each room service at least one towel magically disappeared and when we put the dirty towels on the floor they were not replaced but put up again as if they were fresh. Finally, the roll down curtains at both big windows were broken so that the room was dark, even during the day. The owner was very friendly and had told us when we arrived that one of thencurtains could only be put up half way. 

For the money we paid we could have stayed in a nice hotel with a warm bed, clean towels, working internet and day light. We will most certainly not be back and will not recommend this place.

Overpriced and overrated old room and lack of service

The owner is obviously overwhelmed.  He has lost money during the pandemic and is now gouging the current clients.
1.  He does not return phone calls or emails.
2.  He states there are reception hours between 16:00 -19:00.  There is no one there as he can’t afford it and he works full time because he lost so much money during the Pandemic.
3.  The breakfast is not free.  You must inform him the evening before and pay 17,50€ per person.  Breakfast is only available from 8:00 - 9:00.  (He has a job to go to).
4. His cancellation fee is outrageous.  In case of cancellation the hereby applied amounts en percentages are to be paid by the guest Individual booking from confirmation of reservation :  30% of the total amount of stay. Less than 3 days prior to date of arrival : 100% of the total amount of stay.  

Our fault, when we made the reservation, we thought we were booking one room, for two people.  It turns out the selection was for 2 rooms for 4 people.  When we discovered our error, he was unsympathetic and told us he would charge us for both rooms.  Our 92 year old mother was ill and died, simultaneously, her 90 year old sister and husband were admitted to the hospital. 

Our trip to Belgian was to de-stress and have a get away after going through a stressed period in our lives.  

5.  His website stated that there was a refrigerator in the room.  This was important to us as we have medication that requires refrigeration.  Our room did not have a refrigerator.  He told us to find the kitchen and use the the refrigerator there and he would change our rooms the next day.

6.  The hotel is across the street from a beer bar which is open until 1:00 Mon-Thurs and 2:00 on Fri and Sat.   The soundproofing does not negate hours of beer drinkers getting louder as the evening progresses.

7.  The building adjacent to the B&B is undergoing construction.  Jack hammering starts very early and the site has a bright light shining directly onto the B&B’s front.  

Overall, it has been a horrific experience.  The owner is rude and not engaged in his business.
