24 reviewsWe have spent several days here in two visits to the area. This small friendly hotel is run by a couple who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at ease. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a traditional feel. Some rooms have traditional bathrooms, one room I used had a modern bathroom with a walk in shower. Either way, everything you need is provided. The breakfast is splendid, the usual bread, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, muesli, juice, coffee and fruit, and also eggs and bacon cooked to order. They provided a good meal in the evening and they have a splendid range of Belgian beers, some from the excellent village brewery. If it is fine, there is a garden to sit and have your beer with a tranquil rural outlook. Although they seem to cater mainly for weekday business people, I would have no hesitation recommending this as a base to visit the area, or as a stopover about 90 mins from Calais or Dunkerque.
