Appartement Rangger

We have spent very nice week in Appartment Rangger in Soelden. We were two families with two and three children. We had appartments W1 and W2, which are next to each other and can be also rented as one. Appartments are simple but nice, well equipped, one with smaller kitchenette/livingroom, the other one with larger livingroom. These two appartments are the only ones on the floor, so you have a lot of privacy. The owners are very helpful and speak decent English. The house is next to the slopes, you just need to cross small local road and you are on the slope leading to Giggijoch cable car. The house is about 15 minutes walk from the center of Soelden in very quiet location so you can avoid the hustle and bustle of the parties, but can still get there in a few minutes. There are some good traditional Austrian restaurants nearby like Der Pfandl (highly recommended) or Panorama Alm, which is also directly on the slope 21. My only criticism goes actually to the Soelden skiing - there are some really good slopes, but in the busy period like end of Feb the area is rather crowded and the waiting time at the Giggijoch cable car in the morning can be up to 45 minutes !
