It was a last minute booking and they managed to squeeze us in, what a great find it was. Fabulous menu at affordable prices! 
Local wines on offer, and a wide variety in the menu. 
Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if in the local Port Arthur area!

Fabulous menu at affordable prices!

We met family here for dinner as they were staying here. The food was tasty with a good range to choose from and the staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
We would have loved to come back during the day to do the animals experiences for the kids but we simply ran out of time on our trip in the region.

Friendly Staff & Great Food

I would travel far and wide for this breakfast! When travelling I always long for muesli and toast and they far exceeded my longing! 
I had been here before at various times of the day and always very happy with everything.  The food is excellent. In the past we looked through the animal sanctuary and saw the most interesting and spectacular birds that we would never get to see in our lives. 
I would and do reccommend this place to everyone I know.

What a find!

This was a great little find where we could lose ourselves for a couple of hours on a wet day.  There is a farm with a variety of animals that you can feed, a very interesting little museum and a great restaurant and cafe.  The coffee was so good, and the cheesy cauliflower tart I had was spectacular.  Well done Rosedale on creating such a lovely place!

This restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff are very very friendly.😁 They gave us everything we needed and was really nice👍🏻. They assisted us  and gave us everything we asked for! Definitely recommend.🤪

Very good and friendly :)

For starters they need a separate page for the accommodation side of the business, the restaurant and the animal park. I only experienced the animal park and it was hands down one of the most enjoyable tourism experiences I've had in all of my travels around the world. Part of the reason is that it's incredibly authentic, and part of a working farm (I think!). I thought it would only be farm animals - but there was a STUNNING array of birds from all around the world which I wasn't expecting - as well as some foreign animals which is was so incredible to see up close and personal (not like a zoo!) Being able to pat and feed animals was also a lovely experience. From what I understand these guys opened not long before all of the covid stuff, so I can't wait to return in the future once they have gone from strength to strength. People in the area raved about the food too but I didn't get a chance to have a meal. The museum is also really well done! Thankfully I am local so I get to return in the future!

Amazing animal experience

Now here was a sensational find. Hidden behind the colourbond fencing are enclosures of rescued animals that would rival more famous zoos. Run by Julie and Chris, and boasting a museum of local history significance excellently preserved and presented + a restaurant with chef Grant that serves up food you might expect in Salamanca Place !
Give this venue the time, support and financial contribution it deserves..

Rescue farm with loads of charm, history and fine food

we were staying at Masons Cottages just up the road, and were recommended to eat here by the owners! the restaurant has only been open for a few months and the staff were lovely - even spoke with the owners while there. they have a good selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner that changes regularly and is reasonably priced - and large portions! we had the steak/roasted veg and Pru had the (very large) fish and chips. the steak and veggies were perfectly cooked, and the fish batter was the best we've ever had - crispy batter and lovely succulent fish inside.

Excellent place. Very clean amenities, no shower. Has its own farm/zoo where kids can feed all the animals and they put on a great horse show/demonstration. Has a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff.  Will definitely be back 

Excellent farm stay 

This food was top notch with a great selection and reasonable prices. We loved the Asian Street Fries, Baked Salmon and King Island Brie with Salmon filo roll.  Excellent friendly service in comfortable surrounds.
