464 reviewsYou never really know what a place is really like until you notice how they deal with people in challenging situations. Harbourside Apartments came up trumps. Sydney had its wettest weather in 20 years during our short stay. They had about 400mm [15+ inches] over a two or three days. On Sunday the rain was sheeting down & and the wind was almost cyclonic. We’d put some rolled up towels on the window sill where this torrential rain was seeping through a bit. It wasn’t a real problem. The housekeeper must have noticed the towels. Next thing the management were offering us a new room. We were fine with a bit of water on the sills. Next thing the maintenance manager arrived. He’d come in on his Sunday off to make sure that we and other guests were fine. What an amazing man. So passionate. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was fully assessed and made as good as humanly possible. Our apartment was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Appliances and toiletries were top quality. The walk-in shower was great. Waking up overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House was spectacular. The local cafes and hotel were excellent. The weather was a shocker. The Harbourside Apartment people were helpful, professional and wonderful.
