Great place to stay

The motel carpark was easy to navigate, check in was smooth. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and immaculate and the spa bath was phenomenal! I would definitely stay again!

Would happily stay again 

The bed was comfortable, good shower, room spacious, good a/c. Temperature hot when I arrived. A/c soon cooled room down.   Marco, manager was very accommodating, and pleasant.  I will return.   He supports local industry by giving small bottles of the Big Little milk Co out for tea and coffee, impressive that he supports such a progressive small Dubbo industry.

Those that have written bad reviews should not be believed.  I had no problems with the stay or payment.  It was as I expected. I got good value.  I wonder about these complaining people!

Excellent and helpful host (Marco). Good location near town centre. Enough parking spaces. Rooms in very good condition and comfortable beds. Good value for money.

Excellent Motel near town centre

Such a refreshing change from the dingy old run-down motel rooms with dirty amenities, nasty old beds and tiny little cheap TV's with busted up remotes! A beautifully renovated bathroom  and HUGE TV! At a great price.

Surprised!

We enjoyed our stay at the palms, the service from the owner and staff was friendly and professional. The room was fantastic for the excellent value.

I don’t typically feel completely comfortable in motels, so the experience at the palms was surprising. Everything was spotless, the room was really warm when we arrived for our late check in, (we assume staff ran the heating in preparation for our arrival, so big thank you to the staff who seemed to have gone above and beyond to make our stay as “homey” and comfortable as possible).

The location is second to none, our trip was for leisure and we found ourselves no more than a few minutes drive from any place we were going. There are plenty of options for meals at any time of the day, all within walking distance. Or you can just put your feet up and order from the room service breakfast menu.

I can’t thank everyone from the palms enough for our wonderful experience.

Unmatched Motel Service ✅

I have stayed at the palms every visit to Dubbo recently. The management and facilities are great. Rooms are clean and tidy, comfortable bedding and massive TV. 
I highly recommend staying at The Palms. 


Deluxe Queen Twin Room

Lovely renovated rooms. Close to town. Great parking. Host was very accommodating and friendly. If you have a chance to book the spa room do it. Very relaxing and you can watch the tv from the spa. Great location. 

Stop over - very clean place to stay

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations. Reasonably priced motel in a country town. I was happy if the bed was comfy and the water in the shower was hot. 

Oh, I got that and much more! It started with the very friendly Nina at reception, who welcomed me and asked if I wanted a cold drink. Since I had driven all day and it was 37 degrees, that was very welcome. 

Then I walked into the room. One of the biggest TV's I have seen in a motel room, mounted on the wall, ready for me to watch Netflix. Which I did. 

Beautifully new bathroom, very modern, and yes, lots of hot water!

Lots of little touches though. Microwave, mugs AND cups, glassware, nice biscuits, plenty of extra toilet paper (liked the embossed stamp on the loo roll!), good Wifi, very comfy bed. Everything spotlessly clean. Excellent aircon, plenty of powerpoints for the electronics. And free bottles of water. I don't think there is anything they didn't think of.

Well done to the team at The Palms! I would love to come back :)

Real surprise packet!

Arrived late in the evening after driving from Canberra and was given a lovely room with a fabulous bathroom. 

My room looked out onto the main road and was a bit noisy late at night but nothing too bad. There was a kettle, toaster and microwave available along with cups, saucers and mugs but no plates or knives and forks - I mentioned it to Marco and he said he would attend to it.

The TV was massive and I was very happy once I’d connected my Fire Stick to one of the HDMI ports so I could watch my favourite programme. Some hotels I have found the remote will not allow access to external devices which is slightly frustrating but not here!

Marco is a fantastic host and looks after his guests. I’ll definitely be back for another stay.
