A bunch of Indian students singing on the balcony of one of the apartments ... so I called the after hours number. Completely useless. "I can hear the noise but I can't tell which apatrtment it is from so I can't do anything. You might want to call the police."

This place is barely even half a step above a student hostel. Don't expect anything positive.

No control of party noises

I am beyond disappointed and angry. 
Locked out of the apartment. Yes our fault for losing the key. But when there is an after hours number to call and the phone is in the office going off instead of being with someone to answer in EMERGENCIES. That’s just unacceptable. 
We then ran in to a member of staff, when we explained our situation we were told it was after hours and that’s why the phone wasn’t being answered. Why advertise it as an after hours number if it’s not going to be answered???? 

DISGUSTING service. 

We out sourced a locksmiths who could only get us into the room and not supply a new key. There is $165 down the drain and I suppose in all this fuss you’re going to not retire the $100 security deposit we put down. 

Your staff were unhelpful and in no way did they want to be helping us. 

This is unbelievable. We will not be staying here again.
Why not advertise or mention your pool is out of order? Why not mention your gym is a treadmill and that’s about all? 
False advertising and disgraceful service.

Disappointed

Great location. Not a bad price. But very very basic and not clean. 
Check in was fine and for just $15 you can park under the building and walk to south bank. That's where the positives end. 
The rooms and corridors are scruffy. They need a coat of paint and freshen up. The bathrooms were actually filthy with stuff smeared up the tiles  not sure what stuff but definitely a bodily fluid. 
The bedding was wrought and felt starched. The carpets where thread bare and the kitchen was tatty. 
No can opener and no milk left although there was tea and coffee. 
The pool and spa was open until 9pm and it made the difference to our stay.

Rooms not like advertised photos. Very run down. Carpets and walls dirty. More like student type accommodation. Needs renovated. Location good. Noisey road outside. Sunday church bells ringing from 8 am. No-one at reception at check out.  Would not recommend. I will not be staying here again.

Allegro

Great value apartments. With 5 minutes walk to dozens of international cuisine restaurants. Theater's. And the beautful Brisbane river and botanical gardens. Take a stroll across the bridge and vist the casino. Or do a spot of shopping in myriad or boutique shops that line the street into the city.

Good value aprtments

Does not look like the photos online! The furniture is cheap - pillows terrible, no blackout curtains.  

There is absolutely no sound insulation - I could hear every time one of my neighbours used the bathroom and shower and the doors close so noisily I was woken up throughout the night. 

Provided 3 tea bags, but no milk and only shampoo in the bathroom - no soap!

I have two more nights here and am not looking forward to it!

Fabulous location however the rooms are filthy and not maintained.  A horrible smell hit me before I even entered the room, and upon entering the room it was even worse.  The carpet was badly stained and sticky I had to leave my shoes on at all times.  The cabinets were badly assembled and some even held together with Blu Tack.  There was something smelly growing in the kettle and the bathroom was covered in mould.  The shower was horrible - only a trickle of water and the bathroom basin is actually a laundry tub.  The crockery and cutlery was all miss matched and had to be cleaned before use.  Although advertised as a queen the bed was only a double.  Our room looked directly into student accommodation so it was not very private.  The window blinds were old and did not provide much assistance when I tried to close them.  There were no clothes hangers in the cupboard.  We had trouble with our access fobs not working and we were unable to get assistance from reception as it is only staffed for a few hours during the day.

Never Again - Very Very Dirty

Stayed here March 1st and 2nd this year 2019.
Unit was grotty. Some crockery hadn’t been washed properly.
Mould in the shower recess and around lid of cistern . Aircon was ancient and barely worked. Carpet was so dirty it made my bare feet dirty. Balcony tiles were dirty. Rusty clothes aired. Very disappointed. My friend stayed in unit opposite to mine and it was clean. Worst place I have stayed in.
