Our third visit to Rosa de Los Viajes and so nice to arrive and be recognized by both owners. The Staff..well they are wonderful, Real people that you feel attached to.  Our room, while ‘inside’ still opened to space outside and we had our window open every night. The room was great and the beds SO comfortable. Breakfast was the normal fare you find but here the Coffee was real, AND they served scrambled Eggs. Location is 5*****. As long as the price remains fair Rosa de lots Viajes will prosper. Hope to return next Canadian winter and thank you again to ALL the Staff..you are wonderful people.

When it is what meets your expectations... YES

We had a problem with our booked stay in San Martin de los Andes, so we looked for a good price/location prices, we found Hotel Rosa de los Viajes having both of them on good relation, the receptionist figuered out by our look that we had a problem so he even made a discount on the rack prices we should’ve paid.
Lovely room, not to big but with enough space for bags and everything.
Breakfast was amazing, the cook every buiscuit and bread the night before, if you go down to the lobby around 10-11pm you will smell what I’m telling you. All the ingredients you can put on your bread are made out by them or by some local people in San Martin

Great location & great service

It has been two years since we stayed here last. In the real estate world they say Location,Location Location...and this hotel has that position.  It is still high season here so you can anticipate a inflating of prices.  hotel Rosa would be more appropriately priced at $75-$80max . The hotel is well maintained but anticipate some older features, e.g. wooden slats on the outside windows..interesting feature. Breakfast is fine, even pre cooked and cooled scrambled eggs..you can pop them into the microwave to heat them..rubber is the result you get. Coffee is OMG ...what is that?  It looks and taste like powdered coffee. Why have toasters not invaded this area of Argentina? Room space is reasonable just not huge.Reception Staff we found to be very friendly and willing to listen, to help.

A Return Visit after a few years

Hotel was good in overall. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is standard, some food variety and good cost benefit. Rooms are warm (winter time)... the same for the shower. Nothing to complain. Just rooms and bathroom are a bit old... anyway still all functional.

Good location and staff

We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Hotel Rosa de los Viajes in a double room. We stayed 3 nights whilst we explored San Martin and the nearby Parque Nacional Lanín.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in giving advice on the national park. 
The rooms were kept well clean and were nice enough if not a bit run down. 
Breakfast was ok, if not a little small (one slice of ham and cheese, cereals, cakes, coffee). 
Location is great, opposite the main square and only 10 minutes from the bus station. 
The hotel had everything we needed but we felt it was a bit overpriced, especially when on arrival they revealed the booking website we used did not include 21% VAT meaning it was even more expensive. We've stayed in hostels just as nice as this for half the amount. 

Nice friendly hotel but a bit expensive for what you get

We had a really nice stay here. The room was very clean, wifi was pretty strong, and the breakfast was good - ham and cheese in addition to all the carbohydrates you could want. We appreciated that it was self serve. Nice location, although he rooms are not very soundproof.
