On our way back into France after spending 3 days in a very warm area of Spain we stayed in Pas de la Casa following a suggestion from our daughter. The weather changed as we entered Andorra with road signs warning of impending thunderstorms. The temperature dropped and the rain started. Our GPS was accurate & we found the Hotel easily. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who showed us to our room and explained all the amenities and entry procedure if we were out after the door was locked and wished us a happy stay. In the morning we were greeted by the owner's son in the breakfast room. I was a little disappointed that there was no bacon cooked over an open fire but as this was August I was not surprised. Perhaps we'll come back in winter. We would certainly return to this hotel if ever return to Pas de la Casa.
