We read about it in the lonely planet (printed 2011)... But this place has fallen apart since then. Cafe, bar, pool table all not in use. Room not very clean. Beach area tiny and only 5 deck chairs. No staff (we had to find someone to check in and out) and our passports were kept in a cupboard (key in cupboard) with no one watching it...

Changed rooms after 1 day to somewhere else. Only $12 dollars but not worth even that.

And a cockroach floating in the toilet, nice! 

Must have gone downhill

Don't expect too much for the price you pay.nice beach front area quiet and relaxing if that is what you want,plenty of bars up the road but you will pay more.BUt do try the bar acrosss the road they do some fantastic food.

Cheap and cheerful

they probably have the cheapest beach front room for 4 pax.
rooms are basic but spacious.
I paid for 13 dollars for a double room with AC, like that the guesthouse is small but with beach access. wanted to stay longer but they were full for the following days. 
definitely value for money.

little gems for travelers who enjoy peaceful

In pretty much crowded Mui Ne this place seamed like a smal calm island. Tiny beach was just enough for us (and for most of the guests), our room was fairly clean and nicely furniched, the only real problem were small beasts that were entering the bathrom trough the outflow. Service was very basic, but that means no harassement with offering trips, rentals ... If you don't need luxury and swiming pool, this seeams to be a good and cheap choice (18$ for double room).

Basic, but clean and calm

This place has what looks like a cafe and space for seating and sunbeds but they don't bother to open them or put them out. The place was close to full but they serve nothing. The rooms were clean bar a few grubby patches. The beach is close the price is fair but they just don't seem to care. They rent out bikes that are faulty for full price and when you put gas in one and it no longer works they don't care they give you another crappy one that you need to fill up. I recommend paying extra to stay further south from here the beach is better and you can access bars and restaurants easy
