A little bit far from the center, this small hotel is nice. Simple room, confort just enough but the best is when you enjoyed the diner (cooked by his wife) on the balcony and listen the story about Hue by Mr Hoang. During 2 hours, he explain us a lot of things about his family and about Hue City. Great souvenir, well recommanded!

Thank you to mister Hoang for is more than warm welcome and for the time he spent making us dreaming about old Hue history. He will give you books, read them ! He wrote them and they are far more valuable than Lonely Planet. He will be able to tell you how he survived to both French colonialism and VietCong history.
You have a rare occasion here not to behave as a touristic consumer but as a listener.
The house is very quiet and the noodles they serve you for breakfast are the one they eat themselves.

There are not so many guest house in Vietnam, it was a different way of traveling after spending nights in "anonymous" hotels. Ms & M Hoang welcome you like if you were at home and are a give you a great support for the organization of your visits. They come and pick you up at the station, help you to book your tickets, etc.
The location is not in down town, but not far (2.5 usd by taxi), so the place is more quiet.
Experimented hosts that I recommend.
