Top class rooms at a very low price, very easy to get to the old town (within walking distance) great breakfast and a big pool, what more could you ask for. 10 out of 10 Ruby. The staff are lovely too.

Lovely place

I stayed here 6 nights in Hoi An.  I don’t do a ton of reviews so while all of my reviews are usually 4-5 stars, it’s b/c I want to give businesses that exceed my expectations their proper credit.

The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable.  One of the nicer rooms I had especially for the price.  Room also had balcony which was nice.  The staff is above and beyond friendly.  They’re amazing.  Great experience there.  

Yes, it is definitely outside of the town center, which I viewed as a positive.  Get a bicycle from them.  It’s a very easy, flat ~5-7 min bike ride downtown.  I just got a bike rental for the week (I think it’s about $1usd per day), rode my bike down to the center, parked it, walked around all day and then rode back at night.  It’s close.  

Re: location, while it’s outside of the the city center, it’s also closer to the beaches.  Maybe 15 min to get out there via bike.  I’m very comfortable on the motorbikes but didn’t even rent one on Hoi An.  I loved being on classic peddle bike, which I wouldn’t have expected.  I’m a guy that likes the motorbikes but Hoi An is a place to slow down and take it all in...so I put the motorbike away for a few days. 

They’re everything they purport to be, if o come back to Hoi An (and I hope I do, this town is beautiful) I’ll be staying at Ruby again for sure.



Great Hotel

From the moment we walked into Ruby Hotel, after a dire experience at the place we had originally booked, we knew we wanted to stay. We spent 5 nights here, and everything was perfect for a very affordable price. Fantastic breakfast buffet, beautiful clean rooms with lovely balconies, great pool and above all truly wonderful staff who went above and beyond to welcome us! Great location too, only downside was loud music across the river but this stopped at 9.30pm. Thanks for having us!!

Exceptional stay, favourite place in Vietnam!

Had booked to stay here for 7 nights in Feb 2019. A few days before arriving I tried to get in touch with hotel to arrange airport transfer, didn't hear back, did a bit of research to discover hotel had closed down begining of January 2019. Very disappointing, luckily I was able to book a nearby hotel just before we arrived.

Closed down

We arrived at the hotel after making (and paying for) a booking through Expedia to find the hotel closed. Luckily we were with a driver who was able to ascertain from a staff member (who seemed to speak no English) that the hotel had closed two weeks ago. The driver helped us arrange, and transport us to another hotel. No assistance offered from the hotel. Very disappointing!
