This is the best small family owned motel I’ve found in Pigeon Forge! It’s an older motel (as most in Pigeon Forge are)  but very very clean and the staff are nothing short of amazing! Housekeeper Landon was the sweetest and made sure we had everything we needed! The bed in the room I stayed in was so comfy I didn’t want to get out of it! The fireplace in my room was cozy! 
The ladies that work the front desk are very warm and welcoming! 
If you are looking for a small family owned business to support I highly recommend staying here! You will leave as family! 

Amazing experience

My husband and I decided to take our granddaughters on a last minute two day getaway. This hotel had a vacancy for the dates needed. We reserved over the phone. The clerk failed to tell us that they don't offer housekeeping services until we arrived and we're checking in (due to covid :-( We needed housekeeping services due to one of the girls getting sick. I asked the day shift clerk and there seemed to be no problem as long as we weren't in the room. We left. Got back no service had been provided. No towels or bed linens had been picked up or left. Very disappointed in this hotel. One with the evening clerk. Two at the housekeeping policy. Three with how dirty the floors were. Disgusting. Our feet were black we had to wear socks or shoes in the room. And, Four the grounds were dirty. Both mornings we were there the custodians were sitting at a table or bouncing a ball out front instead of cleaning. I will never stay here again. The best thing about this hotel the Parrot, Peppy, in the front lobby. Signed, Aggravated.

Very Upset

We decided to try this motel after reading all the positive reviews on TA. That was a mistake. The room was old, musty smelling, and in desperate need of a makeover. One of the 2 lights in the bathroom was out. There were drops of blood on the bathroom floor (there was nothing red in the bathroom, so I find it hard to believe it wasn't blood). All of the other rooms had an outside table and chairs, not this one. The window had a great view of the dumpster and lots of spiderwebs on the glass. 

The bed was decent enough though. Had plenty of pillows and towels. Won't stay again.

Don't Get a Room on the End Overlooking the River

Stayed here Memorial Day weekend and had another great stay.. So far this is our 3rd time staying at this hotel and I gotta say it never disappoints... From the front desk staff the housekeeping staff pools and grills o and I can’t forget they upgraded the rooms.... Too bad the rooms are no longer smoking but we still had a good time on the balcony and also got to meet other friendly guess(which we always do)All I can say is Thanks for the hospitality and Nice Nice Nice!!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Another good family friendly stay!!!

My wife and I rented a room at this hotel and it was a pretty good stay. There we're a few things that needed attention but nothing that hampered our stay. There was 2 light switches that I had to keep flipping on and off to get the lights to work. They eventually came on. The TV could have been a little bigger but that's not a biggie at all. The pillows wasn't the greatest but they was ok for a night. Other than those things, we was happy with it. The room was clean and smelled good and it was quiet. We'll eventually stay again before it's over.

It was a nice stay

My finance & I wanted to get away for a weekend bday trip, we found out room last minute, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT. We got a king room with a jacuzzi, which is more like an apartment. The kitchen was stocked with pots & pans too! The rooms are amazing!! THE VERY BEST PART is the customer service, Tracy went well out of her way,she's an extreme doll! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR & stay here! Ohh ya, They even have a parrot named Peppy that greats you at check-in.

Weekend getaway.

This is the first time i have ever stayed here,This place is a older hotel wgich u can tell its privately owned and they take real good care of it,I honestly cant find onw complaint about this hotel we stayed in a 2 bedroom it had 2 tvs in it which was nice and a kitchenete if i decide to come back this is where i will stay we dont stay in the room to much because we are always sightseeing

What a great place to stay

Had such a great place to stay the night staying the night here was absolutely best decision great clean rooms great pool very friendly staff beds are very comfortable room has a kitchenette  fridge free cable TV very close to Gatlinburg 

Such a great time 

The room was exactly what I was looking for, for our family vacation stay, during the winter of, February 2020. Praise the Lord the rooms were CLEAN, had a fireplace, kitchenette, two bedrooms with queen beds, a couch pull-out sofa, table, and options to leave dishes dirty and willing to pay the maid for washing them up for you. They are a "family-owned" place of business and we had the BEST of PEACE and RELAXATION that ANY hotel/resort could offer and along with genuine personalities/characters of the owners and operators. The indoor pool is heated :) (90 degrees) and has an area within the pool set up like a hot tub with seats and jets and it stays open until midnight!! That's a bonus for family's with children. We were given fresh towels and anything else needed, whether we were there in the room or out about in town, EVERY single DAY and never went without! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It also offers the best prices around, they give discounts for multiple room stays and they have a PENTHOUSE on the very top floor with it being the ONLY room on that floor and a two foot concrete slab under you, that practically makes it sound proof for others below. They have outdoor grills, restaurants are in walking distant and across the street, the grocery store is across the parking lot, and theirs a church in between the hotel and grocery store so therefore, it feels mighty cozy and comfortable. We will defiantly be back!!!!

Our 1st Family Mountain Trip

This is an older motel but it is one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in,Its family owned and operated and you can tell they take pride in  there little business..centrally located in the middle of Pigeon forge and we had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. We had a kitchenette in our room that had a little stove so food city being right next door was an extra bonus. We prepared most of our meals in our room and saved even more $$$  highly recommend Riverside Motor Lodge to anyone coming to PigeoN Forge! We will be back!!
