tried to call front desk several times during visit. never got a n answer. room had carpet stain, bed was broken. trash left in rooms.

Havent gotten my security deposit back. can get in touch with anyone at the resort. the couple of times they did answer phone, I was transferred to manager who did not answer phone. left several messages. no return of phone call. We will not stay here again.

Some units in the True Blue GR are managed by Litchfield.  The problem is Litchfield does not put an emphasis on quality control with regard to the True Blue units they rent out.  This property is far down the road from the main Litchfield complex so one can only assume out of sight out of mind.  
In our case Unit TB19D carpet was in very bad shape -- probably has never been replaced - ever.  Various repairs are needed as well with shower rod and toilet paper holder falling off the walls.  Not a unit you would want to stay in with a family; it is barely passable for a group of golfers.
Does not speak well for TB units in the Litchfield Rental Pool. 
It is important that rentals in general be clean; repaired as needed, and kept updated.  Carpets must be cleaned and as necessary replaced on a regular basis given the amount of foot traffic and spills that occur in a rental like these.

Litchfield True Blue Golf Resort Rentals (TB19D)

Our family stayed in the condos for a spring break vacation. It was definitely nice being back away from the busyness of the area itself. Our condo was nice and quiet. I would love to have had a fitness center and an indoor pool- there was none at this golf club. Being at the condos in March, the outdoor pools and whirlpools were all closed. We used the airbnb option, and had a great host who provided lots of amenities for our young family.

Played there on 10-14 and the course was in great shape...You get it all there, nice food in restaurant reasonably priced....Range Balls, Cart GPS, Pleasant Staff and Great Golf....play here a couple of times a year and it never disappoints.....

True blue is Awesome

Although I have never played golf there, we have met friends at the clubhouse for breakfast/brunch many times. The service is always good. The food is good and surprisingly inexpensive. Bar service seems to be always available. The actual clubhouse is maybe a half mile off Ocean Highway (17). Great spot.

Played this well manicured course with a large group, There are a lot of interesting holes, but it is well above my skill level.  It is a very challenging course, bring your A game if you expect to score well on this course, I would not play again.

It started when we arrived, @ 7:00am ho hum at the bag drop. then went to the restaurant when it took 30 minutes to get egg sandwiches when we told them we had a tee time and needed expedited service. told to go sit down and she would be right there,,, not. had to go to the kitchen to get them and have them wrapped, messed up the order and no one really cared. Get out to the first tee ok, the course conditions were great and lay out spectacular. After the second hole was the next disappointment, workers were all over the course, not paying any attention to players. all day long we had tractors mowers blowers and just guys driving around us not paying any attention to whether we were hitting shots. Very frustrating. mentioned this as we pulled in to no response.

Fantastic course but staff ruined the experience. .

Mid to low handicaps will enjoy this course. Excellent condition, great design. If you can play caledonia and true blue in one shot, you are winning. 

I'd say this is a bit harder than caledonia but similar in a lot of ways. The three courses I like most down south of MB are this one, Caledonia, and Heritiage.

What an excellent course.

This was my first time going to Pawley’s Island and I can say it was the best experience ever! True Blue Resort was incredible! Quiet, clean, close to everything, and beautiful property!!!  Loved it all!! We stayed in building 13 condo I. The condo was spacious, comfy sectional in living room, great beds, and the showers water was nice and hot. The only thing we wish they had more of was cooking items (pots, pans, cooking sheets, etc.) we worked around that. The beach was close by and it was private!! Everyone was so friendly, the pool area was clean and lots of seating for everyone!! We will definitely come back again!!

Absolutely the best vacation!!

A group of us stayed at the True Blue townhouses for four days in April as part of a golf package. The package included breakfast at the True Blue Grill. Our tee times were at nearby courses at 7:45, but the Grill didn't open (officially) until 7:00 am. On the first morning we arrived at the Grill at about 6:45, and explained our situation to the staff. They were more than happy to open the kitchen early and make us breakfast sandwiches to take with us in order to make our tee times. The food was great and the service was even better. Every morning, it was the same story - extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Big thanks to the True Blue organization for making our stay exceptional.
