The location of this motel is the best feature.  Staff are very friendly and the guests were all courteous neighbors, however the pictures on this site do not reflect the general disrepair and age of this ocean front property.  Our room was clean but it is sparsely furnished  and being this close to the water, everything just feels damp all the time.  It was nice to have parking on-site and to be close to the beach and boardwalk but we didn't really want to spend a lot of time in our room.

Friendly not Fancy

The room was clean and location was great. Was only one block from the boardwalk and within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. AC worked well. Beds were hard though and the room and hotel are need of updating. All in all not bad but nothing spectacular. Fine for a few days but probably wouldn’t spend a week there.

Good for a short stay.

The pictures for the hotel looked very nice and clean but it’s actually very dirty and gross. The shower head is grimy, the tub still had sand in it from the last person. No microwave, Chairs inside the room look very old and grimy, it was very dusty & there was a broken window in one of the rooms. the only thing that is remotely nice is the walk to boardwalk, beach and their pool (which is a kinda broken down), and the look like kinda new beds in the room. Would not recommend going here at least you are on a budget. 

Would not go here

Stayed here for a couples birthday weekend.  Great location, close to the beach and at the end of the boardwalk.  Don’t be fooled by the pictures, which are obviously photoshopped. Rooms are very small.  Table and chair provided but very cramped in room and set up right in front of the AC so that it’s blowing right on you.  Fridge in room but not that big if you are staying with a family and for more than a couple of days.  Also, no microwave, so anything you do eat, will be cold. Most notable for me was the stale odor in the room, probably from wet feet on the carpet and lack of shampooing n the management end.  Really, the place just need a revamping and updating.  The worst of all was the broken down mattress that were on BOTH of the beds in the room.  It served the purpose, but I will never stay here again. 

Served the purpose

I was nervous about the reviews but I simply love the motel it is in a great location and the front desk was great fast check in the room was extra clean it might be outdated but I am enjoying myself 

Awesome 

Went for Labor Day weekend and the pictures on the website are Definitely not the same in the rooms. The only good thing about the hotel was it was on the beach. When I went into the room and had a very musty smell had to go buy spray to make it smell better. When I turn down the bed there were some black hairs on the bed the bathroom was not clean at all. It was very disappointing definitely not worth the money and definitely would not stay there again. 

Don’t stay!!!

We had the best time. My kids absolutely loved it there. I can't wait to bring my family back. The Seaboney hotel was a really good hotel to stay with the family. I will be back. My favorite thing to do there was the sunset cruise.

My family vacation

This is an older style motel and shows some wear, but the bedding is updated and very comfortable. The air conditioning was the coldest I've ever had in a motel or hotel. The staff was incredible. My wife and I could not have been any more satisfied.
Great spot for OC Airshow. Steps away from boardwalk.

Old School

Cute little motel. Right on the beach/ boardwalk. Friendly staff and cute rooms. Definitely worth the low price. It’s my 3 rd time staying here and I’ll definitely be back . Close to great restaurants as well within walking distance.

Very pleasant

This is a great motel to stay in Ocean City Maryland. I stayed here over the weekend for the Ocean City Maryland air show of 2022. The rooms are very clean and spacious the bathroom is nice full of soaps and shampoo and parking is very convenient and it's free. The staff are very nice and friendly. The best part is the swimming pool they clean it daily. Free coffee machine and Microwave in the Motel Lobby. We had so much fun here would definitely come back highly recommended!
