2 parking spaces are not on site. One is on-site. Other is a block away. No big deal. However, there were 10 of us so we had a 3rd vehicle. It had to be parked in overflow at Cherry Grove office of Elliott Realty which is 15 min away when traffic is good. We haven’t had access to WiFi although we’ve spoken to Elliott several times and they have contacted owner. 
It is a corner unit. As a result the dumpsters are directly below. We hear trash going down shoot at all hours and garbage truck pickup early several days so far. The AC works great. The beach and weather were beautiful. We definitely had all we needed in the unit. It just needs some TLC. During heavy rain we had major leak in middle bedroom window. Called Elliott immediately. Maintenance came by next day, looked at it but made no repairs. We won’t be back to Summit and it’s unlikely we’ll use Elliott Realty again. Their inability to resolve issues has been disappointing. We also never saw anyone service the pool. I’ve seen the same piece of trash at the bottom of the pool all week. Also, the middle bed sits so high that our grandmother couldn’t get in it. She slept on lower bunk instead. Be sure to bring bath mats.

Potential

We take a family trip in June every 3 years with 70 plus of our family members. We always stay at the Summit and have NEVER had a problem until now. They cancelled our reservation 4 months before our trip for their own personal use. Now we are scrambling to find a place to stay to be with our family. Do not stay in this condo 3D. The pictures might seem nice but it’s not worth getting your trip ruined. Very disrespectful people.

Me and My husband stayed here for our honeymoon and it was great! It was really clean, and it was a nice atmosphere, everything was nice and in place! We loved the view from the condo and it was easy to get in to! The furniture was very nice and we loved the way it was decorated! The owner takes great pride in the condo as far as I could tell! We were blessed to stay in such a great place for our honeymoon! We will stay at this condo again! Really great trip and a really great place to stay! We will be coming back! Thank you so much!

Summit 2A 

We arrived on a Saturday at 12:30. We had called the day prior to see if we could get in to our room early and Elliot Realty instructed us to call between 12 and 1pm when we arrived. We called and they said the room wasn't ready. We went grocery shopping in the meantime. At 2PM we went to the Realty office. They gave us the code for the room and said the code would work at 3PM. We walk in at 3PM and it's DISGUSTING. Hair in the showers, garbage on the floor, food leftover from the previous vacationers. We had brought all of our luggage and groceries up to our room and ended up leaving the groceries inside but taking our luggage back downstairs. We called the Realty company and they put a work order in for someone to come clean. HOWEVER, they told us that check in was from 3-7pm- meaning they have until 7pm to clean our room. I've never heard of such a thing. In every hotel I've ever been to- check in is 3pm. Check out is typically 10 or 11am. We received a text at 6pm saying our room was clean. We brought all of our luggage back up to the room to go inside and realize it still hadn't been cleaned. We called back to the realty company and said nobody had been there to clean. They put in an emergency request for the room to be cleaned. FINALLY at 7pm workers showed up to clean our room. In the meantime we went to buy cleaning supplies so we could re-clean after the "cleaning staff" (who appeared to be under the influence of drugs) left. At 8:15pm we were finally able to get into our room. Our first day there was completely ruined. Sliding door to deck was unusable. Someone came on the 3rd day there and fixed it (thankfully). Dryer took 4 hours to dry anything. Mold growing around the windows. Wifi was a complete joke. I had to connect to it again every single time I wanted to use the internet. The curtain rods were all falling off due to rust. Pencil marks on walls for measurements. I've never been so disappointed with a vacation spot so much. We love Myrtle Beach and the location was great to be honest, but we've had MUCH better quality for a MUCH cheaper price. This place was disgusting and nobody should be able to rent it. The owners clearly don't care and are solely looking to make money. DO NOT STAY HERE. NOT WORTH IT!! Wish we would've read the other reviews that stated EXACTLY what we experienced.

Summit 2A Terrible Experience

The unit is a very nice unit. Do not believe the bad reviews. I stayed there from March 31- April 7th. The condo is very big and allows my big family the room we needed. All the comforters are the same color and design which means it all matches and were very clean. The furniture in the unit is very nice, the oversized couch and loveseat in the living room make it easy to accommodate a lot of people. I will go back and will recommend this unit to everyone. Why people want to nit pick units is beyond me. Who cares if the sliding door does not have screen, if you are going to open the door, open the door. There are no bugs to worry about coming in, heck I have never even seen a fly. It is right on the beach an very accessible to shops and restaurants.

Spring Break 2018

Booked 2A 1st time for February 2018. 4th February booked with Elliott with 2nd February disappointed by them. Their cleaners&inspectors (charged $75 inspection fee with free cleaning - normally $100, for last year's issues) are A- blind, B- lazy, C- incompetent, or D- ALL Three!!! Unit was dirty, bedroom with glass wall smelled like cat pee, upholstered furniture/pillows were soiled, no stove top lights, dodgy dishwasher top rack, broken hard wire phone, no TV usage (only DVD) in back bedroom, and in general the place looked beat up! The owners had the place blocked out for Nov thru Jan according to the office so if it was used, they either don't care or rank up there with the cleaning staff.

Elliott, to their credit, did respond the next day to handle the cat pee with Febreeze, although the guy claimed it was carpet padding and not pee. Never saw carpet padding put cat hair on upholstery before! I booked this unit under the impression that it was "pet free". Elliott also corrected the appliance issues in a few days once the parts were available and also replaced the beeping old time smoke detectors with new ones.

I know that Elliott has hundreds of units to handle, BUT if you take the $$$ from the renters & owners, then darn it, DO YOUR JOB!!! Also, whoever made the web listing should get an award for making the place look much better than it was. The listing also states that the place was refurbished in 2017. Other than replacing drapes and removing valances without spackling the old holes, I could see no evidence of it! Some windows were coroded shut and couldn't be opened. Screens were missing on the two sliding doors. Paddle fans had dirt build up on blades. 

Also, kitchen has minimal equipment/cooking utensils and what is there (includes numerous cheap knives) leaves a lot to be desired. We brought a lot of stuff having never stayed in the unit before, but we still had to buy a spatula, a non-stick fry pan, baking sheet, and storage containers to survive. Glad that we brought a waffle iron and an electric griddle for the month.  There was no crock pot and the toaster was tiny and cheap!

We have rented a number of places for our annual snow break over the years. This was initially, the worst ever. We usually take things in stride but this place was nasty! The Elliott desk and maintenance folks were friendly and took care of us trying to make things right after the fact.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE: The Summit has a great location (we've usually stayed near Main St. in North Myrtle in the past) that is easily walkable to Barefoot Landing and a number of decent restaurants/bars/stores if you don't want to drive or if you want convenience.  Renters Beware, and it's true: you get what you pay for! ;^)

IF THE OWNERS READ THIS: If you want to build a good rental book and make money in condo renting, remember that you need to spend money to make money!
Personally, I'd have really been PO'd if I'd paid the thousands per week summer time rate to use you place. 

At least spend some $$$ on paint, spackle, and floor/tile cleaner to make your place look attractive and leave a positive impression. Improve the kitchen gear and get rid of all of the things taken from restaurants. Also IMHO, Get rid of the dirty wicker rack in the DR since it's full of junk serving no purpose. It takes 2' off of the DR width. You could spin the table and add more needed room to the LR.
