Only reason I give a 1 is so I could write a review.  Evidently you don't know how to control your bookings or booking company.  Canceled my reservation at the last minute due to the incompetent scheduling.  Not a happy family.  And definitely not a good way to run a business.

Piss poor management

Stayed in F11. Worst bed ever. Couldn’t even move without the bed squeeking so loud could wake the neighbors ! Washer was clearly broken and they must have known ahead of time . Washer as old as dirt with no knob so I’m sure many renters before also without ! I’ve stayed at summer tree around 10 times . Not having a washer was terribly inconvenient  since we have been there so many times and pack accordingly . Sheets and blankets awful . We had to go to Walmart and buy bed in a bags for both beds . Will seriously consider elsewhere next time .

This unit was very pretty and clean. However, our first night here we were woke up all through the night by a non stop barking dog. I believe the owners must have worked night shift. So by the second night with no sleep and the barking dog continuing on through the night, on the third night I ended up having to be ugly about it and i stepped out to my porch and hollered " Put a leash on that SOB" Not my usual thing, but in 3 nights you'd think you could get some rest, Then people above us constantly walking sounded as if they weigh a ton or that maybe they were fixing to come through the top. Finally, after stepping out and saying what i did the dog stopped barking at night, until my last night and it started up again. Then other people came in unit down the hall from us that partied all night, kids running halls, etc... So, our stay wasn't pleasant. We paid to stay here  from June 6th through the 15th 2018. However, we checked out at 9:00 a.m. the 14th and headed home for some R&R. We didn't even get a refund for the extra day that i didn't stay and yes i did buy their trip insurance. Not a relaxing vacation at all. In addition, if owners of units have dogs they should keep them quite. I stayed in unit F6. Will NEVER happen again.

Will never happen again

We have been renting from actual homeowners for over 10 years... This is by far the most relaxing and best  location we stay at in myrtle beach!   Other reviewers clearly rented through a rental company and not directly from a homeowner.  The past reiviewers didnt say anything negative about the actual condo complex.  Just their one expierence with a rental company!    def should not stir others away when the can enjoy this wonderful place. A lways cheaper and easier to rent from a homeowner.  The place is super close to the beach. 5 minute walk tops.   We love how wwe can walk to everything here.  Love to take a walk to apache pier which has a awesome arcade for the kids , great bands playing on the pier and a nice little resturant.   Condo is also 5-10 min drive to EVERYTHING ..broadway at the beach,  tanger outlets, barefoot landing, Kroger Wally World.   

Complex is usually quiet and relaxing.  We often have the pool all to ourselves!  The two different condos we have stayed in are well stocked kitchens, super clean and spacious,,  we love sitting on the screened in porch. Enjoying a cocktail and playing cards or just enjoying the view of the pool.

Only place we ever stay

Nice property and super close to the ocean.  Definitely within walking distance, probably about a quarter to a half mile (we still drove because I refuse to walk back with sand in all of the nooks and crannies).  It's early April to the outdoor pool isn't open for the year yet, which is a bummer.  Also, I thought that security would be more strict.  Our neighbors were partying until after 11, playing vulgar music and screaming obscenities at each other.  The music I can live with, they're on vacation too, but the screaming and the swearing was too much, when everyone else staying here was completely silent and apparently ready for bed.  A tenant had to walk over and tell them to knock it off (which judging by their language, I thought he was very brave for doing so).  I would have hoped that security would have stepped up to the plate and handled the situation.  There was no way they didn't hear all of the ruckus.  That part was very disappointing.  The other drawback, is there are no elevators.  So if you're staying on the third floor, don't bring a ton of luggage with you like we did, or your knees will be sorry.  Otherwise, nice prooperty, especially for the price and super close to the beach.

Book your suite thru the summertree website home owners rentals section. Not all owners rent. Some are nicer than others. Owners only may have a pet. Renters may not bring pets, motorcycles, water craft or trailers. Location is a block and a half to the beach. Recently upgraded landscaping is beautiful with palms, flowers and large oak trees.
