I walked into our room at the Rodeway Inn and the smell was horrendous. I walked into the bathroom to check for cleanliness. It smelled like the sewer backed up.  I found mold in 2 places. I do have pictures. I also feel sheets weren't changed on the bed. The floor was filthy. I used a towel to wipe it down and do have a picture. If we weren't so exhausted we would have ate the money and left. I actually slept with my clothes on.  I'd like our money returned.

The absolute most disgusting place I've ever been to. The room had bugs, black mold, the ceiling was caving in, there were no outlet covers including the 220v air conditioner, the floor was so rotted the dresser moved when you walked in, the peep hole in the door was smashed and filled with toilet paper, the manager was rude and refused to refund our money when we declined the room based on it being a health and safety hazard. Do NOT book this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible

HOOKERS  & DRUGGIES & and FILTH oh my!   Horrible place, no housekeeping  soaking wet   filthy rug,  dirty ring in tub same towels for 5 days  attitude from owner when we asked for clean towels and TP   plugged drains in sink nd tub useless  nasty foreign ...... owner need I say more?    we could not lock our door they would not fix  it really a disgusting  filthy hole.  Do not go there!

Convenient spot to break up an 8 hour drive. Super cheap last minute rates. Filthy bathroom, mattress sucked and there was no breakfast provided even though it stated there would be. If you get a 50% discount, it’s worth it.

Dirty but cheap

This was awful. Dirty and scary. Bedding was full of bugs and cigarette burns. It was awful and unsafe. Don't stay here ever. I asked for my money back and they refused. No thing for the awful experience

Worst

Dirty, unsafe, scary, had a creepy owner. He was sitting on a chair outside our door when we went to leave for dinner. The room was horribly dirty, smelled horrible. Felt like we were being watched. The owner was rude to the customer right before me and to myself. Checked out without staying.

The price tell you why as compared to numerous other in the Hershay area. The shower was very difficult to turn so I had to wash in the sink. I was afraid I was going to break the handle. I had to use my shoulder to open the door every time . No one was in the office in the morning to help. A MOD came over when I told about the shower ghandle and he had a problem turning it on. He said he woulf use some WD40 to make it easier to turn on. It never hppened.   Nice people but to managment to help

Worst motel ever

I came in the room yesterday night April 11...i was really tired...i took a shower and just layed down in the bed....when i woke up i didnt notice how nasty and filthy the room was....i took pictures...the refrigerator was dirty and microwave and the draw had nasty stuff in it and eyelashes and the ice container where u put the ice was dirty...and the floor wasnt vacuumed...red stuff all over the wall...the was on the side of the frige...its just nasty...and the guy acted like he couldnt give my money back or a discount......

First of all, as we pulled in the parking lot, we were greeted with few uncomfortable questions by two cops in the parking lot, it raised a red flag about the safety. Apparently, the manager (Mr. Patel) got into an argument with a guest and decided to call the cops. Since it was late around Friday midnight, we still decided to give it a try. Next morning, we discovered that the shower was NOT in the working condition. The hotel manager (Mr. Patel) was rude and condescending. Instead of changing the room, he kept blaming us for breaking his shower! Instead of changing the room or fixing it, he kept arguing how hard it is to get a plumber on a weekend and why we should take the refund. Alright, Choice Hotels, you just missed our business when we decided to leave rather than dealing with this unprofessional manager (I wonder if he has ever learned anything about customer service!). Our original reservation was supposed to go for two days. As the room was completely inhabitable due to the lack of basic necessity like shower, our reservation money should have been refunded entirely. Instead, Mr. Patel argued that we have to pay for one day (seriously!). He left no option for us but to pay for one day (for nothing). This is a ridiculous practice of ripping off your guests! Needless to say, we left the premises of Rodeway Inn feeling duped and cheated. I am sure that none of us will be coming back to any of the Choice Hotels property ever in the future!

You are better off staying in your car than wasting your money to buy a headache here!

Our room was small, OK, I'm only using it to sleep in, as we were in town for a family wedding elsewhere. Nope, no such luck.  Not until after 1:30 A.M., thanks to other guests who were partying hard, and our next door neighbor who decided that 1 A.M. was a great time to take a shower.  Speaking of showers, our bathtub was clean, but when was the last time anybody cleaned the shower walls?  they were grimy and gross.
The promised included breakfast consisted of coffee and pre-packaged stale pastry, available in a tiny section of the office.  It wasn't crowded, only because either our fellow guests were too hung over to stand up at that hour or knew better.   We went up the street to the Capitol Diner, a practice I heartily recommend to all.
There are two hotels on the same block, including the Sleep Inn right next door.  Go anywhere but here.
Just to add a little more fun to my stay, they've apparently charged my card a second time.  I'm in the process of disputing it, but it's particularly ironic that the clerk checking us in acknowledged that we had pre-paid.
