The price is what initially attracted me to Moseley farm, but with its location being close to Malvern Spring Show (the reason for staying) it was perfect. The room we stayed in came with an ensuite, Smart TV, and the ability to make tea/coffee which was basic but we didn’t need much more. We were initially greeted by the owner who was good to chat to, and recommended places to eat and where to go in regards to the flower show but once settled left us to it. The dining room was available as a place to eat with basic amenities (e.g. toaster, microwave, fridge etc.) and there was an option to purchase cereal/fruit for a reasonable price if you had not already brought your own. Moseley Farm is easy enough to find on a SatNav, and the surrounding areas are lovely to look out on with it being so peaceful. 

Would certainly recommend if you’re someone who isn’t expecting the most modern and luxury of living spaces.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Don't expect anything other than the most basic of stays. About £60 its reasonable. Clean and quiet.
Would I stay again - YES
Would I recommend - Yes but with the caveat of it being a one star establishment.

Back to Basics

Bed and breakfast .... nope no breakfast offered just stale bread, prepackaged Lidl pastry or a bit of fruit that’d seem better days plonked on the table at 50p per item 

With my major gripe gone let’s look at the rest of the visit, 

Well poorly signed from the road and missed the entrance as it was just an a4 sized black and white sign on the entrance to what looked like field, 

I arrived and drove up the “drive” to a poorly lit “car park” (actually just a small field you can plonk your car in) walked through the mud to the gate (see pic attached). I opened the gate walked through more mud and eventually found my way into the house. 

No outside lights on and a small sign saying ring bell if no answer walk in, now this doesn’t seem the most secure way to work to me, 

In the hall way another sign (around 10cm wide and 15cm high) saying on the front door it tells you which room you’re in help yourself (keys in room) so personal information displayed for the world to see and which rooms are occupied - at least thieves wouldn’t need to waste time breaking into the empty rooms would they how kind of the owner. 

The hallway had a cream carpet and sign saying please don t leave stains on the carpet - err kinda hard not too when you’ve just walked through 50m of swamp to reach the Front door! 

The room was actually an amazing size well furnished with 3 beds a couch  and a chair, tv etc 

The only reason this isn’t one star is due to the comfortable beds now that I cannot complain about! 

So the towels ..... now that’s a different story they kinda reminded me of my nans old towels I had when we were younger you know 20 years old well used dry and crispy - I’d definitely advise bringing your own, 

The room was quite clean actually a few stray hairs here and there and stain on the carpet, the  bathroom was old and tired much in keeping with an old farm house, the floor was squeaking and a floor board broken so a dip in the floor was apparent on the way to the loo in the middle of the night. 

The shower was hot and not bad so no complaints other than a little unclean around the base as was the toilet it had signs of used around the hinges of the lid. 

There was a strange draft coming though a door and one of the windows right next to a bed to the point my colleague had to go get a blanket from his car as he was cold, 

The house In general was cold and crafty I would say this is probably due to the age, 

Owner was friendly enough although we saw him for a total of 45 seconds over 2 meetings 

So all in all B&B Not a status I believe this place should hold 

However warm dry bed for the night no frills this is your place!! 

I wouldn’t return for a holiday but may do for work reasons  

Bed and brea..... oh wait nope 

Booked this for a charity cycle rider to use along with his support. 
Simply asked if the bike could be safely stored, got a reply which simply said no, charity or not. I asked if we could put the bike somewhere safe to be told no then they requested I cancel the booking, purely as I asked to store something out of the eyes of others. 
Rudeness in spades. I told them we could store in the vehicle and asked to continue with the reservation and they cancelled. No option, nothing. 
These are two people using five different hotels over five nights, not a stag party, for an important charity. The only hotel who have cancelled, in fact the only hotel ever to cancel on me for no reason. 

Terrible customer service 

Let yourself in and out. Basic rooms. Basic dining room downstairs with a few bits of food to purchase. Lot of money for what was offered. Asked for a family room and got a BIG room with 2 doubles. The two boys hated sleeping together in one bed and made sure we knew about it.
