Husband and I stayed for 3 nights. B&B was the best on we have stayed in so far. Attention to detail is second to none, breakfast was just lovely, lots of choice, room was snug and cosy and bathroom amazing. Spotlessly clean. Good location which was a nice walk (15mins?) into town which helped walk off of homemade biscuits! Off street parking was great as well. Would highly recommend. Would also recommend "Greens" bar and restaurant (in the town) - best Sunday lunch I think I can say we have ever had!!

Absolutely Lovely

My 2 sisters and I stayed in this delightful B&B for one night. Our room had a double and 2 single beds. Fabulous bed linen, wonderful shortbread biscuits,  scrupulously clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Great choice. Liz makes every effort to provide a fabulous stay. Taxi to town centre was £5.00.  Quiet location. Ample parking. Highly recommend.

Stayed here 1 night,  super safe parking lovely house , spotlessly clean great room with superb decor , facilities 100% everything you need , So helpful very enjoyable stay very comfortable would highly recommend 


Gr8 place 

I stayed here in October.  Travelling solo this place was so comfortable, welcoming and convenient. Liz was an exemplary host who went out of her way to make my stay wonderful.  Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious, her always available cakes were scrumptious. The room was perfectly spotless, beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable.   I’d stay here again without doubt and rate it far and beyond bigger more expensive hotels for value and service.  An excellent choice for a solo traveler who needs to feel safe and at home.   A very pleasant and easy walk into town as well. Thank you for a great stay

Brilliant B&B

We had a great couple of nights, hosted by Liz. Could have been at home, says it all. Lovely room, great breakfast and advice on where to have dinner, spot on!! Absolutely spotless, too, well well recommended!!

Home from Home

As B&Bs go, this place is 5-Star!  And only 5 mins drive from the city centre.  From the tea and cake on arrival, to the beautiful design and furnishings, the crisp white linen and the delicious breakfasts cooked to order, Flowerdews is a credit to the owners and, Liz, we enjoyed your company.  Every last detail was taken care of and, whilst it's certainly not at the budget end of the market, it's a great example of getting what you pay for, and then some...  Thank you Liz.  Wouldn't go anywhere else on a visit to Winchester.

Top Notch B&B

My family and I had a lovely experience staying here. Liz was so welcoming, friendly and helpful from start to finish, it really did feel like home from home. We stayed 3 nights here and felt really comfortable, very much enjoyed the house, the breakfast, homemade cake, the location. Exceeded our expectations : )

All round lovely experience

Flowerdews is a a cozy, welcoming B&B where one immediately feels at home.  From the homemade cake and welcome tea, to the "honesty bar" in the living room, the B&B really does encourage guests to relax and enjoy the hospitality.  Liz is a wonderful host who took the time to explain where to eat nearby, and where to park when visiting the Cathedral.  Liz cooks breakfast to order (many choices--I loved the avocado toast; my husband and son liked the English breakfasts--as well as a spread of yogurt and fresh fruit and juices).  We got the family room, which was tastefully decorated and very comfortable, and had an electric kettle for tea (there were cookies too!)  Little touches mean a lot--the homemade cakes, the little surprise Easter bunny under the teacup--I highly recommend this place.

Country comfort, home away from home

A lovely place to stay where I felt very much at home.   Welcoming tea and choice of cake on arrival.   Great attention to detail such as choice of refreshments and good quality products in the bathroom.  The honesty bar is a great idea.    There is a wide choice available for breakfast.
