This is our 3 stay at Weybread lakes and we absolutely love it ! The total relaxation of being on a lake and other than seeing the other man at his fishing peg we didn’t see a soul ! The Willow is by far our favourite lodge so far . With it being length way the decking across the lodge is massive and ideal for sunbathing and meals out if weather is on your side . The bed is so comfortable and the space in the lodge is perfect . On a rainy day the sauna was a massive hit as inside the lodge and the hot tub was well situated behind a private gate and screen . We will be back to try the other 2 lodges in the future

Mini half term break

What a beautiful place! 
Kingfisher lodge was everything we could have asked for!
Huge comfortable bed with fluffy pillows, just the place to relax for a while. 
Sauna and Hot tub are the most private we have seen, we have stayed in a few fishing lodges in the last few years. 
When the hot tub had a pump issue, it was fixed quickly and with very little disruption to our holiday - perfect service! 
We will be back and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Just to say the Chinese takeaway, delivered to our lodge, was superb!!

Beautiful lodge

From start to finish, a peaceful and relaxing 3 days, 2 nights in Heron Lodge. Easy check in. Fully equipped kitchen so we were able to cook a full roast dinner. Cosy nights spent by the (gas) fire and in private hot tub/sauna. Did not want to leave! Highly recommended for a romantic short break. 

Relaxing romantic get- away

I would have loved to have given 5 stars for this lodge break, but there are just a few details that make it fall short of being the perfect break. This said, don't hesitate in booking, if you are wanting a romantic break in a log cabin in what feels like the middle of nowhere, that when you walk in has the WOW factor and is spotlessly clean, this is for you. Book it now!  The photos alone say it all and were everything on our wish list. 

When we arrived at Larch Lodge at 4 pm on a very dark, extremely cold -3deg and foggy, the cabin was warm and toasty. The lake was frozen, the hot tub warm, and sauna in the cabin a welcoming treat.  All these perks should give the cabin top marks, but it falls short on a few things. We are very lucky to have a few hot-tub breaks per year and can only suggest the following to improve on the perfect break. 

Arriving in December, maybe a small Christmas tree? Nothing in the cabin suggests we are in the festive season. The TVs are not SMART, and it is really disappointing to only have Freeview as an option. Yes, you can bring a Firestick, but why the hassle? The heating feels a bit hit and miss, 3 areas to be heated on thermostats. In the info sent, the towel rail is set as always on, but it didn't come on throughout the stay .  It didn't matter as the residual heat from the sauna dried our towels. The hallway thermostat spends the evening clicking on and off. The wonderfully huge bed has a soft mattress and uncomfortable headboard for sitting and enjoying a morning coffee. The microwave has a mind of its own nor does the inside plate turn as it should (not a problem for cooking but maybe needs looking into?) No homely extras such as a couple of board games or pack of cards. A dvd player is supplied, so don't forget your dvds. The music entertainment  system is ageing. As I say, such small details, but this attention to detail, I believe, would make it a perfect stay!  

All of this said, I have already recommended Weybread Lodges to friends and family. Happy travels! 



Beautiful Lodge but falls short of perfect

Absolutely fabulous. Willow lodge. It was perfect 👍🏼 my husband really enjoyed the fishing 🎣 we both enjoyed the hot tub. Everything you could need was there and it was a great place to relax and unwind 😊

Maple lodge is clean & tidy towels & bed linen smelt so fresh hot tub & free standing bath in the bedroom and surround sound with speaker in each room 
amazing had the best weekend & will definatly be going back didnt want to leave

Had a lovely week staying in Heron Lodge at Weybread Lakes. The location was great, very quiet and the lodge is well furnished and extremely well equipped.

I also fished the lake and while fishing wasn't easy, I did catch a few including a decent carp of 8-10lb and some nice Rudd!

The Hot tub was lovely and the lodge was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom.

I can only think of one suggestion of improvement and that is very minor, i.e. a good non-stick frying pan would be great as the two in the kitchen were not non-stick, so frying eggs not easy.

I would definitely come back.



Really Peaceful.

As someone who has stayed at quite a few lodges like these around the country, I can honestly say this is the best to date.

Everything about the accomodation was perfect, we requested details of the bed and bedding (I believe quite a few people do) as we have never slept so well. The accomodation was immaculately clean and the owners were there when needed.

The location was extremely scenic, with lots of places close by when needed, but far enough to make the resort so peaceful.

We are already planning a return visit, although feel it will be future VISITS, and become our regular haunt!

Outstanding in every way 

We stayed in maple Lodge. It was so big ,clean and set in peaceful surroundings. We made use of the sauna ,hot tub and I enjoyed the free standing bath in the bedroom.As soon as we walked through the door I said wow .In the last couple of years we have stayed in lodges,this was our first time using hoseseasons and this was the best one yet .Will definitely be using hoseseasons again and would like to visit this location again hopefully for a longer stay .we'll done to everyone involved ,excellent job ,I haven't been this relaxed ever .thankyou

Peacefull luxury lodge

just returned from a week in maple lodge, peacful relaxing retreat ideal for chilling out ideal for couples, sauna hot tub , everything you need just take your food, never had any contact with owners was unlocked and key waiting on arrival, did some fishing ideal for the pleasure angler, but for the serious carp fisherman theres a day ticket water in walking distance, a village nerby for supplies takeaways etc, lodge was spacious with a modern kitchen and comftable bed, loved it will be back.
