Had a fantastic one night stay here after climbing Pen Y Fan. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean and Denise (who welcomed us) got us a jug of milk to have with our coffee in our room. The bath was a joy to soak in after our climb, as well as the toiletries which I'd forgotten to pack. All of the staff were exceptional as was the breakfast. Would highly recommend. 

Brilliant stay

Clean and comfortable room and bed in a quaint farm/inn located just outside the southern border of Brecon National Park.  Secluded in a rural setting (with impressive scenic views from common lounge/sitting room) coupled with two local pubs in a tiny hamlet.  We tried the Red Cow Pub and found the food tasty and the patrons friendly and informative.  The farm/inn provided a very good Welsh breakfast and has ample on site parking.  The bathroom has a combined tub/shower that provides plenty of pressure and hot water.

What a lovely B&B! The hosts are so lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are huge and so are the bathrooms. Lovely location and views. It's a bit like staying at your favourite Nan's house - warm, welcoming and relaxing. Thank you :)

Welsh Warm Welcome

Just on our way back from a lovely weekend.  This B&B comes highly recommended.  Set in a beautiful peaceful setting.  Immaculately clean and comfortable rooms.  The ladies that run it are so warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.  A bit like staying at your favourite aunty’s house.  The breakfast was delicious.  Would go back in heart beat.  Really enjoyed it!

Lovely warm welcome

Our family of 6 stayed in Cottage 1 last week and I can’t praise  the whole experience too highly. Our hosts Kath and Mike, together with all the rest of the staff, couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. My wife Joan was born in the area and her brother lives nearby so the rapport was instant! The cottage was warm and comfortable and was well provisioned when we arrived. Breakfast was first class with plenty of choice. There was plenty of parking and you’re in easy walking distance of 2 pubs.

A beautiful place to stay!

We were looking for a one night stop around the Brecon area after visiting family so found this B&B by chance on the internet.  We received a very warm welcome from Anne and the house is scrupulously clean. The B&B is a short walk from two pubs and from the reservoir which is beautiful and a great walking route. The breakfast was fabulous with home made preserves. Just like staying with your favourite Aunty!

Fabulous

Everything positive reviewers have said about this place are true. Clean., frendly staff, great rooms. Unfortunately, tired and with a long day ahead, we got absolutely no sleep due to the noise from the plumbing. The boiler fired up every 15 minutes or so, triggering noisy pipes, intermittent dripping and running water and a banging ballcock opening and closing. At 3am, desperate for some rest, I called the owner to be told he would call a plumber in the morning. Not much use to me unfortunately. Avoid Room 1. Nice room but directly above the boiler and beneath the water tank in the attic. The pipes run thorugh the linen cupboard next to it. But you will know that if you stay there. A great shame as it really let the place down.

All the positive reviews are true, but our stay was let down by the plumbing!

Very olde worlde bnb, the Penrahdw farm is located deep inside the country, in a nice little village with a couple of good pubs, and many walks around. 
The most experienced hikers can even reach the Pen Y Fan from there (it's a very very long walk). But also you will be fairly close to many other places like the 4 waterfalls walk or bike park wales. 

The rooms are so nice and cozy, very clean and very big too! The breakfast is decent and won't leave you disappointed. I will almost definitely come back next time I'm around there! Great value for the money.

A quiet retreat by the welsh hills.

Well ran B&B we were made to feel welcome on arrival. the cottages are perfect for family’s or couples. Just a 5 minute walk from 2 pubs which are both really good. Ideal location for walkers and bikers. Plenty of choice for breakfast!
