We enjoyed a super relaxing anniversary weekend at Tina and Amanda’s lovely guest house! Easy to find on quiet street with off-road parking spaces. They welcomed us warmly with a much needed cup of tea, but could equally have had a beer or glass of wine in their cute bar. Our room had a lovely view over the pretty garden and out towards the Purbeck hills. All was fresh, clean and newly furbished to a high standard, and we thoroughly appreciated the comfy bed, quality linens, fluffy towels and excellent shower. For those of us whose idea of a holiday is tea in bed, there is every conceivable variety, generous sized mugs, a full sized kettle and a whole pint in a silent fridge. Others have quite rightly raved over the breakfast, so I will just add that even in these cash-strapped times, Tina and Amanda are still supporting the local free-range chickens to supply their generous Dorset breakfast. We found Swanage Haven super convenient for a 10 min walk to the centre of Swanage, a pleasant hike to Durlston country park, and a short drive to Corfe Castle and Studland Bay.

Tina and Amanda are exceptional hosts, providing such a clean, comfortable setting, with even a bar area to relax in. 
The accomodation is a short walk from the town, beach and coastal paths, we stayed three nights and didn't use our vehicle once!
Breakfast was also exceptional, a consistently high standard of food with many options to choose from. We are looking forward to our next visit here.

Had a fabulous 3 night break, its no wonder it has 5 stars.  The homemade granola was amazing (I came home with a copy of the recipe) and fried breakfasts hot and freshly cooked to order.   Our room was at the front of the hotel which was quiet and had a wonderful comfortable bed.  Tina and Amanda were great hosts sharing recommended walks and cafes, plus serving us breakfast early on our last day, nothing was too much trouble.  
Would definitely return if are in the area again.  


Fabulous guest house

Just returned after a fabulous weekend staying at The Swanage Haven. This place is absolutely faultless. So much attention to detail to ensure guests are comfortable and catered for. The bed was so comfortable and it's located in a very quiet area, so we slept very soundly. Our room was well equipped and decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We loved the homemade granola. Tina and Amanda are both amazing hosts and made us so welcome. We definitely recommend this absolute gem.

What a little gem this place is. Location is a gentle 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach and the town which has all your usual shops and pubs/cafes.
Our room was at the back of the B&B with lovely views over the garden and the hills beyond.
Nice sized room with all your tea and coffee you need with the added bonus of a fridge which had normal milk and not those horride little pots. Toiletries also provided.
Breakfast...what can I say - loads of choice from fresh fruit to sausages and croissants. Absolutely keeps you full for the rest of the day.
A big thank you to both Amanda and Tina who are lovely hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would definitely recommend especially as its adults only 😉



Little Gem!!!!

We would like to share our wonderful experience last weekend of our stay along with a group of friends.
We received a very warm welcome greeted by the owners Tina and Amanda. 
The Guest House is immaculately furnished and decorated, the bedroom that we stayed in was the same. My wife often comments that when we stay away from home that mattresses are never as comfortable at ours  at home, these most certainly were.
The garden is beautifully and very well cared for. 
We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in the garden, many choices were available.
We will definately be returning along with family members and friends.
These ladies provide excellent customer service in a very calm and relaxing environment.

Excellent !!!!!!

10 out of 10 to all the amazing staff at this B&B who work together to provide a positive and enjoyable  experience.  Amanda and Tina the proprietors have a first class B&B . Everything is to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. The B&B is close to the amenities that Swanage has to offer which is many!  We will definitely be back.

We stopped for 5 nights at this fabulous Boutique hotel
Lovely holiday from start to end. 
Everyone so friendly and welcoming
Greeted with tea and biscuits which is a lovely touch after your journey
So clean throughout, has been totally refurbished to very high end standard. So many lovely details. 
Bedroom was very comfortable, slept very well
Bathroom great size and great shower. 
Well stocked tea tray and lovely touch of small fridge in your room to keep drinks etc. 
Fresh milk in fridge
Plenty of  tea tray refills available on landing if you need more.
The breakfasts are amazing. Everything made to order and presented and cooked to excellent standard
Very well stocked Honesty bar in lounge, lovely that you get to serve yourself and sign for what you have 
What makes this hotel really stand out is how welcome you are made to feel. 
Feel Tina and Amanda have really invested everything into this fab place and deserve to do well

Fabulous

I stayed at this Guest House recently for 3 nights and have to say I was very impressed with everything. We were greeted and asked if wed like a tray of tea and biscuits after our journey.. Our room was on the 2nd floor, so good exercise to walk off the beautifully cooked and presented  breakfast each morning, which was ordered with a tick list of good variety choice the evening before. The room was nicely presented with good quality bed linen a comfortable bed and a good sized en-suite. The little details of a Swanage Haven Chocolate and fresh milk in the fridge was lovely, with plenty of coffee, teabags etc to make a drink in our room. The honesty bar was a great idea and the drinks are added to your final bill. The owners Amanda and Tina are very approachable, hard working ladies which all went  to making our stay very pleasant indeed. Definitely hope to return and will spread the word. Thank you.
