We have had many holidays at the Glynvale Hotel with family and on are own. The time spent at the Glynvale from 1989 - 2017 June,summer and winter holidays from 3 days to 2 weeks holiday, we found every stay to be at an excellent service and very helpful,and when we have been with our family they treat our grandchildren as their own,all the rooms that we have stayed in are to a high spec and clean,the food is well presented and they will go out of there way to help anyone,I am only writing a long review because  the negative review above doe's not reflect on the true  feelings that we have of Norman and Susan.

Very good stay - we will be back again

A little bit dated c1980 decor but Clean and comfortable room . Stairs are a bit steep so if you have mobility problems ask for a downstairs room . Ensuite shower and toilet with a lovely extra touch of make up remover wipes . Breakfast was good quality and the young man serving was very polite. Drummond rd is a long rd and it was a bit of a walk to town but it is all flat so just take your time. This hotel had an honest homely feel to it . We would stop here again . 

Homely

Booked this through booking.com and just returned from a 2 night stay with our grandson. Travelled from the midlands by train which worked really well and would do this again. The property is in a great location for all the amenities of the town. Room was small for 3 of us but we spent very little time in it this wasn't an issue for us. The owners keep the place very clean and tidy and provide a lovely breakfast . There is a also a TV room and a bar . If you tire of fish and chips turn left out of the property and there is a lovely restaurant called Links a short walk away good food and prices - overall a very good stay.

Lovely hosts

We stayed in a triple room with our 2 year old daughter, the room was small and basic but extremely clean and more than enough for us. We didn't intend to spend loads of time in the room. The whole place is very clean and you can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in the place. They were also very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again. 


No complaints.

This hotel advertising free hotel parking there is parking for 1 car only so if your not first to arrive basically the owner says tough your have to find somewhere else to park. I and my son arrived around 3pm as check in is after 1pm the owner was miserable moaning not helpful at all where I had to park to check in was ridiculous so I ask if she could speak to the owner of the car that had the only parking space if they could move there vehicle over her reply if I see them
Me as it's difficult for my son to get out of my vehicle as not a lot of room 
Her reply should of told him to get out before you parked 
Me where is the parking for the hotel we are just checking in 
Her that's it 
Me what if I move up slightly someone might block me in
Her no they won't first come first served with parking 
Well with that we were given a card to feel in before we left asking my name address how I was going to pay cash or card and details of card and leave it on the table on the way out in morning lol well I wasn't born yesterday I wasn't going to leave my details for everyone to see this woman wanted £80 which I would off been willing to pay but after the first 10 mins experience I told my son we are looking for somewhere else we then found another place nearer the beach £55 including breakfast was able to park no problems friendly staff and lovely breakfast when going onto book and wanting to leave a review she had locked review so I'm unable to make my review
