Oakfield Caravan Park

Lovely weekend away with family.  A very quiet park but we loved that.  Lots of things to do around Towyn but if you just want to stay on park they have a club house which we loved the manager & staff was so friendly and helpful.  The kids loved the little arcade they had there as well.  You get a friendly welcome from them all.  We will be back next year.  Thank you again.

I’ve never been to such a nice park as oakfields I was only here 2 nights but I have had the best time ever. The site is clean the clubhouse is a nice size for the park. The best part of the holiday was the entertainment. There was just one small boy that ran everything in the club the one with glasses. Think his name was David. He was professional funny a good laugh he is amazing at his job he kept everyone engaged throughout the night. The party dances were my favourite part of watching him, the few kids that joined him on stage definitely were better than him but he gave it a go.  The act had a fantastic voice as well was definitely worth a watch. I’ll definitely be coming back in summer I’d recommend this park to everyone. Good job David and the team 

Had a few days off so took a random trip to Oakfield and used it as a base to explore the area we found good standard of accommodation we book private caravan there is plenty of choice on site clubs and shop are good with access to local bus routes at the entrance it is perfectly situated just outside of Rhyls action but a short bus trip or walk if that is what you want try trips to colwyn bay and llandudno and the mountain zoo or great Orme

Been back 4 times and it's fantastic! Staff are lovely, caravans are clean and spacious, night time entertainment is fantastic  for all ages.. cant wait to go back. Lovely site !! Never had a problem at this caravan park.

Had a problem at start of holiday which was quickly sorted by lara and Michelle, could not fault them at all they really made our holiday, couldn't thank them enough, excellent customer service  and have booked to go back next year thank you Lara and Michelle xx

Got off to a bad start. Caravan not up to expected standard. Spoke to Lara, who came with Michelle to hear our concerns. Upgraded us to better van and have us extra night. Cannot fault. 100% fantastic

Surprisingly quiet park considering it’s location. Wont suit people who want some action but it totally suited us. Besides, Towyn is on the doorstep if you want action lol. We just wanted a base whilst we explored the wider area & this suited us fine. We stayed in a private caravan which was very nice. Didn’t bother with the Sports Bar or Clubhouse, hence I can’t give the place five stars without experiencing them, both looked a bit quiet though looking through the windows from the outside.

Amazing

We stayed in a Gold caravan which overall was nice (have definitely stayed in worse) and there was evidence that overall prior to arrival that the caravan had been hoovered and wiped down but there were a few issues:-
* Frying pan was full of fat from someone staying there previously.
* In the bathroom on top of the cabinet there were 2 old toothbrushes (not sure how long they had been there) and when I picked them up to put them in the bin, the top of the cabinet was thick with dust.
* Kitchen blind was dusty and had a few dirty marks on it.
* Mattress in main bedroom had a water stain on it - there were also stains on one of the pillows (unfortunately we didn't find these until the last day).
* Ice compartment in the fridge had the door broken off (reception were told but no-one ever came to look at it).
* Mop in cleaning cupboard was falling apart and left chunks of sponge behind when you used it to mop the bathroom floor.
* Remote for electric fire didn't work (think batteries were flat).
* Kitchen equipment in caravan was basic and the crockery + cutlery was made up of odd, non-matching pieces
* We were in caravan B25 which was next but one to the cabaret club and on the Saturday night it sounded like we had a disco in the bedroom - it was that loud - this was part of the reason we left a day earlier as we didn't fancy the same on our last night which would have been the Friday night (luckily it was quiet Sunday to Thursday as it's off-season).

Overall based on location and condition of caravan I would say this is a good caravan site to stay at but it's fair to say that the caravan we stayed in could do with a good intensive clean just to bring it up to standard as well as the necessary repairs doing to the fridge as it wouldn't take much effort to order the new door and probably only 5 mins to click it back on. Staff aren't very helpful either so some customer service training might not go a miss. Might be helpful if they also provided information on what can go in the recycling bins (or that they actually exist) as I had to go the bins area to find that piece of information out for myself.

Nice caravan site overall but could be better

So caravan was Great (gold ) the park for the kids was very good as well.Food offering terrible burgers and they were not nice,entertainment ok kids liked it.bar staff not very friendly there was a big guy black hair miserable .Right the thing that really bugged me we had 6 kids in 3 caravans they all a bit older so wanted to go in arcade not one change machine and every time they went to the bar they said NO sorry can’t give change really so how are the kids ment to  play games bring bags of pound coins!!!.

Poor customer service.
Dog barking throughout the duration of our stay and despite complaining the security and customer service staff did nothing! Totally spoilt our break. 
Camp smelt of dog wee and some disgusting owners not clearing up after them! 

Club house dirty as was Winkups! 

Swimming pool changing rooms were gross! 
Would not return.
