589 reviewsWe stayed as a family of four (2 adults and 2 older children) in the two suites on the top floor. - Emily & Hazel. They were beautiful - lots of light, wonderful views of the town and mountains, spotlessly clean and both with amazing bathrooms. Really comfortable beds and lots of lovely little touches. Although due to Covid rules during our stay housekeeping could not access our rooms to clean this was not a problem as if we needed anything we just had to ask, and bags we provided for rubbish to be left outside to be collected. Really not an issue at all. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and it was the best breakfast ever - all freshly made to order - perfect eggs and amazing fresh pastries. Lots of choice - we tried the full welsh and the smoked salmon with poached eggs - all wonderful. The restaurant was not open for dinner during our stay so cannot comment however would love to come back to try as if it’s anything like the quality of breakfast it will be amazing. We have had a lovely stay here and will definitely return. Another huge plus point is the ample car park - in a town with very restricted parking spaces this is a real plus point. Dolgellau is a gorgeous town with fabulous walks (we did Precipice and Torrent) very friendly pubs and restaurants but beware- booking dinner in advance is essential as everywhere gets very booked up.
